 + -1 moreKevin did a great job. I called and Kevin came out the next day. Kevin let us know that our roof was installed incorrectly and that was why we were getting water down the side of our house and in the basement. He fixed the problem for us while he was on the roof.

 + -1 moreFirst, the owner returned my call promptly and gave me an estimate over the phone. We scheduled the work and he arrived within the time window. We inspected the gutters together and he asked about blockage problems. He then proceeded to perform the work and when complete walked me around again explaining the job. Great communication.
Description of Work: Cleaned gutters and installed a gutter guard foam filter that I purchased.

Description of Work: Approximately 9 years ago, I had Gutter Topper gutter guards installed on my second story gutters. After working well for the first 8 years, I began to have problems with water running over the sides of the gutter near the downspout instead of down the downspout. I tried locating the installer and it turns out this installer was a subcontractor and is out of business. The next call was to the regional representative who is based in Lancaster. I spent nearly two months e-mailing back and forth to him to see if he could come out to diagnose and fix the problem. He claimed he doesn't get down this way much. Finally, I used Angie's List to find an area gutter cleaner. The one closest to me turned out to be Kevin Konitzer of Gutter Cleaning. I left a message on his phone and got a call back within 5 minutes. After I described my situation, he said he could come out the next afternoon and quoted me a price of $195 to clean all gutters. He arrived a little ahead of schedule and had to remove the end caps on the gutters to have access to the gutter near the downspout. He found that both front and back gutters had become clogged by roofing material that had been left by the roofers when the roof was replaced about 1.5 years ago. Evidently, they had just reinstalled the gutter guards without cleaning out the gutters. Both gutters are not clean and I was very impressed by Kevin's professionalism and responsiveness. I would recommend him to anyone. He has been in the business for 16 years and lives near the Delaware/PA border.

The only reason I didn't use his service was because I found someone who was able to come on the next day, which was a Saturday. Kevin was unable to come for certain until Tuesday. I would definitely like to use his service this fall.

I have a 2-story colonial and, after a bad experience with expensive gutter guards that cost a lot of money but didn't work very well at all, I simply wanted the gutters cleaned. After looking in the Yellow Book yellow pages, I called 4 companies; Kevin returned my call that same evening. Two of the companies never called back, while one called back five days later. Kevin provided the estimate over the phone (based on a description of the house), showed up on time with his assistant to do the job after I hired him, and provided great service. He was very easy to work with, and his job performance was outstanding. All in all, excellent service.

 + -1 moreThe clogged gutter was found and the clog removed. All the gutters and downspouts were checked and cleaned. Kevin was very upfront about what he was insured to perform and what he wasn't insured to perform (specifically snaking out the drain if necessary).
Description of Work: During the house inspection that was done when I was purchasing this house a clogged gutter was found. I called Gutter Cleaning to clean the gutter and to look for any clogs in the downspout.

 + -1 moreI've hired Kevin Konitzer twice now to clean my gutters. I found him on your list last year. He called me back the same day and did the job with-in a week. This year I told him I had to be away for awhile and he called me back on exactly the day we had agreed upon. Both times the job was done well, gutters are running clear and all debris was totally cleaned up. Kevin is very professional and a nice man to deal with.

 + -1 moreI called three companies for estimates Kevin returned my call the same day and gave me an estimate over the phone. It took one week for one of the other companies to call me back and I am still waiting for an estimate from the third company. When I called Kevin to say he had the job, he called me the same day and was able to come out that afternoon to perform the work, and at that time I had not told him of the problem of the water damage to the steps fortunately he had something in the truck to take care of it.
Description of Work: We had the gutters cleaned out and a splash guard installed on one gutter which was overflowing due to the force of water coming from a downspout above it and the force of the water was damaging the stone steps.
