Description of Work: Our sump pump system was failing and water was leaking into the basement. They visited and provided an estimate and explained the work. The estimate was a worst case scenario. The actual amount of work completed was less than the estimate as they found the problem and did not need to continue. Amount invoiced was less than the estimate. There was one issue where they forget to complete part of the work but with a quick phone call and a fast trip out it was resolved. Very professional and will use again. After a few significant rain falls the repair has held up to the test!

 + -1 moreI have used Graydon Hurst several times over the last 20 years in multiple locations. At my house, they installed French drains, a sump pump and dry-lock paint in a very large crawl space that was accumulating standing water and has now been bone dry for years. The ceilings are very low in the crawl space and yet they jackhammered and put cement down and painted everything with a very professional and positive attitude in a timely manner for a reasonable cost. They later added a large drain to the outside basement stairwell to prevent water from my neighbors yard from coming down the steps and overflowing the door sill - now the water is channeled into the French drain in the finished side of the basement. At my mother's house they installed the French drains, sump pump, dry-lock paint and stairwell drain as well as a window well drain that addressed a leaky wall on the side of the basement. The company has been in business for over 50 years with word of mouth advertising because of the excellent work they deliver with a positive, can-do and quot;problem solvingand quot; attitude. I will not hesitate to use Graydon Hurst's services again if I ever need them in another home and I'm very quick to recommend them to anyone looking for waterproofing. Make this phone call and you'll be glad you did !
Description of Work: Graydon Hurst patched and repaired the unfinished basement walls and painted dry-lock paint on them to help ensure a watertight basement with a much improved appearance.
