HORRIBLE. NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH SO I COULDN'T GET ACROSS TO THEY WHAT WE WANTED. ROOF LEAKS AROUND THE CHIMNEY AND AT THE ROOF TRANSITION. GUTTERS WERE INSTALLED INCORRECTLY, THEY LEAK BETWEEN THE GUTTER AND THE FACIA

The job took two days. His crew was professional, extremely hard working, and did a great job in cleaning up the property. Josh was also personally onsite when the job was completing on day 2. There were absolutely no complaints with how the roof was replaced. The job was done neatly and professionally. We could not be any happier with his team’s work. The roof looks amazing. We felt that our selection process using Angie’s List contractors got us to the right company to replace our roof: Brandywine Exteriors. We would highly recommend Josh and his team to anyone looking for a roofing contractor.

The Brandywine Exteriors team was excellent throughout the process of getting work done on our home. They managed the pre-sales, exterior home project work and post project support extremely, extremely well.

There was a mix-up where my big deal purchase was not forwarded to this provider. When they were finally notified they contacted me quickly. But I had decided on a different course of action because of the mix-up. They said they would still honor the terms of the big deal at any time.

WOW! They saved me! A branch went through the roof during a thunderstorm and rain began pouring into my new house. Brandywine was the ONLY roofer willing to come out the next day to tarp up the roof (we were in the midst of daily rain/storms). Prompt, and courteous - we discussed repair and new roofing options. They worked with my insurance company and were able to help get us additional monies which put a new roof within our budget (the roof would have needed to be done within the next 5 years anyway, but was hoping to get settled in a bit first!) Work was quick! They removed the old roof and replaced 10 sheets of wood all in one day. Brandywine also installed a solar tube skylight, and replaced an old skylight. The new sky windows are so bright and classy. Brandywine offers outstanding warranties and the roof is BEAUTIFUL! I feel confident and happy that my new roof will last many years. I can't say enough good things about them - what started out as a disaster really worked out well!!

Overview: It went very badly. We started discussions in March 2016, signed contract in mid-June 2016 and Brandywine said job would begin in mid July. A series of problems occurred, and on September 21 the Brandywine team walked away from the job before starting. We were left with 6 months of wasted time and nothing to show for it. Specific negatives on Brandywine: After we signed contracts on June 14, 2016 for everything but copper roof, we were told mid July start. On July 19 July Brandywine said their key person on trim was injured and would be out for "a few days" and in 48 hours they would let me know new date. On August 4, 2016 (6 weeks after contract signed) Brandywine called to say that there was no Hardie Plank available in the color we wanted and they had to order from manufacturer and there was a 4-6 week lead time for Hardie Plank. I asked why H-board/Hardie Plank had not been ordered in mid -June when we signed the contract because now we lost 6 weeks, I did not get a good answer. On August 24,2016 we signed the contract for the copper roof project. Hardieboard and metal trim finally delivered on Sept 7 2016. Trim was wrong texture, nothing like the sample we agreed to. Also the shutters were the wrong dimensions. Obviously the materials had not been checked before delivery and/or someone had been careless at Brandywine when ordering. Brandywine salesperson (Shawn) said he thought trim was "ok, just a different interpretation". I complained to Brandywine owner (Josh); Josh agreed that the trim texture was not correct (he used the term "cartoonish" and Josh said he wouldn't want to have it on his own house) and he would order new trim. On Sept 7, the person from Brandywine who actually was doing the trim work examined the job (for the first time) and said he was not comfortable he could do the job well. However, new trim was ordered by Brandywine in the correct texture, but it turned out to be completely different color when it arrived Sept 21. Unbelievable. On Sept 22 Brandywine owner (Josh) said "we're sorry, we need to walk away from this job"; Josh added that he was losing money on the job because of material he can't return. They didn't call us; I had to call to find out what was going on after all the materials were picked up by the building supply house and one of their employees. All-in-all a painful experience. While my experience was negative on balance, there were 3 positives on Brandywine: Brandywine team spent considerable time with me and my insurance company arguing for more reimbursement. Brandywine team was reasonably punctual during sales process. And Brandywine team walked away before starting construction (as opposed to walking away mid job which would have been worse).

Very well. Everyone associated with the company was businesslike and courteous. They responded to phone calls and returned calls promptly. The salesman was direct and low key - no pressure. He seemed knowledgeably (from my research). Once the windows arrived from the manufacturer, the work was done quickly and neatly. When defects were found in the replacement windows, the installer ordered new parts from the manufacturer and installed them in a timely manner. No deposit was required and no payment made until the work was completed.

From start to finish, Josh, Shawn, Kevin and the whole crew were professional, prompt, neat, did quality work and finished my 30 square roof in a day. Price was reasonable and I didn't pay a dime until the job was completed and I was 100% satisfied. What more could you ask for, Kudos!

Capped all doors and windows including garage door New siding on dormers and side with decorative vent covers New siding on back and small chimney New siding on front of house all new siding included decorative caps around the faucets, oil pipes, outdoor lights picture perfect Our house now looks like a brand new house and we are constantly complimented on its finished look.

Shawn first came out to provide the sale presentation. He was through and informed, while Brandywine Exteriors was not the "cheapest" price I felt they were fair. The job was well done and I would choose to use them again. Brandywine Exteriors was quick with follow up to make sure I was satisfied with the work, and they corrected minor items upon my request. They DID everything we agreed to in a timely fashion. You can count on these guys to have integrity and stand by their work!

The job was finished in 2 days. Not only did they do a quality job, they also went above and beyond their duties and removed the wasp nest from my attic. I have done my research on Angie's list before I chose Brandywine. Overall, I get the best value from Brandywine's services due to high-quality product and awesome warranty they offer. Definitely would recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

Good job, quick, and exactly what I expected

It went great. From the initial consultation with Kevin, I knew this was the company that we wanted to use. Kevin did a great job assessing our needs and budget. I was impressed with his knowledge of windows. He did a great job explaining the differences between several products and talking about the company. The install went smoothly with no issues and was completed in one day, John and Jason did a great job installing the windows, they were quiet and very neat. They cleaned up all the mess and took all of the debris and old windows with them. We couldn't be happier with out new windows. They all seemed very concerned with our satisfaction and wanted to make sure that we were happy with the final product. I would highly recommend Brandywine Exteriors and we will be using them again for several other projects, including replacing the remaining windows in our home.

Methodical and professional. Required lots of clean-up, and this was done with meticulous care.

Window and Siding was great. The stone veneer was outsourced and the results show it, but overall still looks good. The bay window was not done exactly as I requested (did not remove all of the rotten wood) but was rebuilt well and it looks great.

Quoting process with Kevin was simple, fast, and thorough. We were able to get a price at the end of our discussion. Asked about how soon they could do the work, and they indicated they wanted to fill some open slots in their schedule, so we only had to wait a bit less than 2 weeks from contract to roof replacement. The materials arrived the day prior to the work being done, which is what we were told. They preloaded the roof with all the shingles, and left the supporting materials on a pallet at the side of the driveway, making it easy to still get into and out of our garage and use our turnaround. -beds.Their lead Rob arrived at 8am to size things up and be there before the crew arrived. They were scheduled to start at 8:30 and everyone was prompt and a bit early, so they could cover the windows, bushes, deck, and flower beds. My wife dearly loves her flowers, and the guys used upside-down trash cans and plywood sheets to avoid the possibility the flowers might get crushed. The removal of the old roof was pretty much complete in about 2 hours. Watching the crew work (they are all employees) looked like 'organized chaos'. Everyone seemed to have a job to do, and they allso seemed to have interchangeable skills as well. They worked quickly and efficiently and within another few hours, had completed prepared the roof with ice/water barrier and breathable "paper" and were ready to shingle. Once they started shingling, it went amazingly fast. By 4pm, they were cleaning up the remaining debris -- they were working throughout to manage the old materials. They even got rained on while they were installing the ridge vents, but went about that task in the rain without a complaint. After the cleanup, I was amazed at how well they did -- we could not find anything left over, which was a surprise given the amount of small old roofing paper remnants. Swept the yard with a nail rmagnet and visually inspected the flower beds for any material that didn't get captured in their tarps. They finished off with blowing off everything, sidewalks, deck, patio, and driveway, leaving us with a new roof and nothing to suggest they had been there to start with. Very professional, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quality job. We were told that if anything comes up, just call them and they'll take care of it. We have no doubt that will be the experience if we need them for any reason.

Brandywine Exteriors came and replaced 16 windows in my townhome. Very pleased with the finished product. They were punctual and got the job done in one day. I would recomend them to install replacement windows.

We would probably not use them again in the future.

After speaking with Josh, the owner, in person and voicing my complaints he appeared to be very responsive to my concerns. He immediatley proceed to have the debris cleaned up and that everything was restored to its original condition. He felt so bad about the poor communication that he credited back to me $500.00. The fact that the work was competently performed and that he was genuinely worried about my issues would make me contact Brandywine Exteriors again in the future for any other projects that I would need tackled.

Service was excellent. Got a true estimate for replacement windows and not an hour long up sell like other companies we had contacted. Price was very reasonable and they worked with us to get the most value. Very knowledgeable about the products and the process and answered all of our questions. Installation was punctual, fast, and clean. Very pleased with the entire process and would definitely use Brandywine Exteriors in the future.

They arrived on time and installed the windows and door as planned. I had requested ahead of time, that they move the old front storm door to the back, which they did without any problems. All the work and materials were first class. They cleaned up afterward and were a pleasure to work with.

This is a follow-up review to a previous one that I wrote earlier. After Josh read my review, he contacted me to let me know that he was unaware that the security wires had been removed during the window installation and that my cost to have security service restored had skyrocketed from $500 to $1,000 because service would now be considered a new installation. He refunded me an additional $250 to help make me whole. I appreciate that! Thanks Josh! Rosie
