The store had a wide range of choses both in style and pricing. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us with our selection. The overall experience was terrific.

Work was nicely done, but I found out the work was actually contracted out to another provider. Next time I will just call the contractor who did the work directly and leave the middle man (Avalon) out!

Relatively simple job but the contractor ran out of tiles, which needed to be reordered and took weeks to arrive (I had to call them to find out). When checking, salemen referred me to the manager, the manager to the warehouse. When I called the warehouse - after the two weeks I was told to wait - the tiles were there. No one bothered to contact me! The T molding installed is a cheap metal piece, not the wood one which we had ordered and was specificed in the contract. It was pointed out to the contractor at the first installation, and it was supposed to be fixed when he returned. It was not done and I was not there. It is a small thing and most people won't care, but this lack of attention to detail makes if frustrating to do business with them.

There are too many people involved and communication is lousy. There is a salesman, an estimator, the warehouse, and the contractors who actually do the installation. In our case, the estimator was wrong and the contractor ran out of tile before the job was done. We had to wait two and a half weeks for more tile to arrive. The contractor installed the wrong moulding between the kitchen and the hardwood floor of the dining room (metal, instead of the wood specified in our contract). We will live with it, but it left a bad feeling. It might be better to work directly with the contractor and but the tiles directly from Lowes or Home Depot. Pricing would be better that way, too. We used Avalon a year ago and the work was fine, but this experience really turned us off.

Very pleasant experience. It took me 3 trips to the store to decide on the tile, and the salesman was very patient with me. The estimator came out to the house, faxed me a final drawing of the plan, along with the price. The job was completed within 10 days, and it was done very well. No issues at all with the price or quality. They were very neat and clean on the jobsite. They put down plastic so my carpets were not soiled. Returned the next day to grout the tile. It looks very good, and we are completely satisfied.

They did a really good job and were very professional. They were very accommodating in spite of the fact that it was a hard job. When I mentioned that the clean up was not to my satisfaction, they came back and made it right. I am very satisfied as a result.

They hired an independent contractor to do the installation. They didn't make that clear to me, I thought they were independent. They made it clear to me that it costs more because they were perfectionist, but there were some pretty awkward mistakes.

They were very helpful. They was a problem with the product and they straightened it out within twenty-four hours. They arrived on time to do the work. They were very professional. They were customer service oriented.

It went very well. They had to remove 14 year old Berber carpeting which was on top of a concrete slab. The old carpeting was carted away. They arrived when scheduled, were quite professional while doing the work. The flooring looks great - it makes the room look so rich!

Purchased great tiles from them, priced much more reasonable than other tile stores. Big selection, nice sales people, chose, ordered, got them delivered in few days.

This company had a lot of specials to choose from and I was even able to find a discontinued item with their help. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me to make the right choices of materials.

THEY WERE THE MOST COMPETITIVE OUT OF SEVERAL PLACES WE RESEARCHED FOR CARPET AND THEY HAD THE BERBER PRODUCT THAT MET OUR COLOR/QUALITY NEEDS. OVERALL THEY DID A NICE JOB, ON TIME.
