They carefull wrapped and moved all our posessions. They moved in and out of the houses carefully and were quick to notice the small things (a few extra forks in a drawer). I was a bit hesitant to use them at first because I really had not heard of them before. Im now a believer and would use them again in a heartbeat. It was also helpful to identify each box or furniture item and where it needs to go. Thanks ALOHA!

They arrived later than expected on all 3 days. In all fairness, the weather was lousy on one day (it snowed). However, they left during rush hour in inclement weather and proceeded to complain constantly about the traffic (as if they were surprised). The packing was substandard. I've had movers pack for me before and at least some of the crew did not know what they were doing. Some things were under packed - like a receiver that was dumped on its face without any packing around it. Other things were oddly packed - like dishes that were wrapped in paper and then tape run completely around the object multiple times. They did nothing to protect the carpets and they were a mess by the time they left. They did send someone over a few days later to clean the carpets, so that situation was addressed. I had to specifically request they use wardrobe boxes. Before I caught it, they had packed one closet by taking everything off the hangers and stuffing it in a box - no, not folded neatly, stuffed. At the house, one of the crew used paper towels in the toilet and stopped it up. I discovered the problem on my own and the crew member was told to clear it with a plunger. After they left, I discovered it was still a mess. I was told to call a plumber and they would reimburse me. The plumber cleared it and sent a bill which I paid. The reimbursement from Aloha is still an outstanding issue. There was one picture with cracked glass. I was told they would send someone to pick it up and repair it. I finally took it to be repaired and sent them a bill - no response. The receiver that was damaged does not work and I have notified them of that fact. I have asked for a modest reimbursement for the damage and this is an outstanding issue. I foolishly paid their bill when they left on the 3rd night. It was late and I was not thinking clearly. I should have withheld money until everything was taken care of. They did come back a couple days after the move and move a couple things into place that needed to be moved. Specifically, the BBQ was left in the middle of the garage, a bench in the front on the planting bed and a dresser was 4" from the wall. These were things I'd asked about during the move and was told they would move later. Then it got late and I did not notice them before they left. I appreciate the fact that they came over and took care of those items. I have emailed and called Aloha repeatedly. They responded that they would be sending a check and later emailed to verify the address, but after repeated follow up emails no check came, no further emails and no responses to phone call messages.

The truck they brought was not big enough so they were going to load up as much stuff as possibly then take it to a storage facility and unload it then come back and get more. They were suppose to show up earlier but didn't show up until around 4 to start unloading the first load. They were suppose to send 4 men to unload but only sent 3. They didn't leave my house until about 6 in the morning. During the move they put our bed together and did not do it right.
Description of Work: They moved us to our new home.
