Description of Work: They're very good - I have a flat roof, and every year it leaks. They put a new roof up very quickly and for a reasonable price. It has held up now for the last 3-4 years.

Description of Work: We chose not to use All American for our roof, gutters and skylights. When we met with the salesman, we told him what we wanted. He told us they would not install a new roof without installing new skylights, which we wanted anyway. We told him we wanted a price on two different shingle brands. After waiting a week for the proposal, it did not include the skylights nor gutters and only one shingle type. The estimate was almost $5000 more than the other estimates also.

Description of Work: Project Manager Brian Liss was a thorough professional. His crew including: Chris, Alex, Hymet and Hymie worked from sun up thru sun down and did a very fine job.

Description of Work: All American Roofing and Waterproofing was called when the roof leaked into the bedroom beneath it. They were the first to come and provided a reasonable estimate to repair the leak, which they did. They also provided a quick inspection of the whole roof and advised to have it replaced (not unexpected since it was 19 years old). After getting estimates from other companies, All American was finally asked to do the job and we scheduled it at their next available opening, approx four weeks later. When an earlier date opened up, they called to ask if they could come out sooner and came out to do the job. The initial estimate was $7900, one of if not the lowest we'd received and it included ripping up the old roof and fixing the sagging soffits, not just laying down another layer of shingles. The representative told us up front that there might be additional cost involved, depending on what was found under the old roof. As they started ripping it off, we were not surprised to find out that most of the underlayment was damaged (recall the leak). I won't be surprised if the final bill is quite a bit over the estimate since they had to replace almost all of the plywood (again, not unexpected). |They were courteous, worked hard, cleaned up every scrap and nail, and didn't demand money upfront. I would recommend them to anyone and will hang on to their number when Mom's roof needs replacing. There was NO pressure from the salesman, which happened to be the same guy that came out to do the patch job two years ago. The roof looks fabulous and now I'm not holding my breath when it rains (or will snow).
