I couldn't have asked for a better team! The work they did was impeccable and they left the work area spotless. Newt and John were timely, professional, and clearly take pride in their work. Dan, the owner, was so incredibly nice and talked through things with me every step of the way. He was so flexible about me needing to reschedule follow ups due to other factors with the reno, and even though the guys had to come back twice (once to extend water lines through the new base cabinets and a final time to hook up the dishwasher, sink, etc.), he only charged me an additional $60 for parts needed. Not even labor. Who does that? I will never use another plumber. Never.

I was very impressed with their service. The work was done to my satisfaction. They came out right away and didn't overcharge.

It was last minute and they were prompt and did not charge for the service call. They have been out multiple times and were very trustworthy.

They were punctual, professional, and provided quality service. First plumber that we've interacted with that was actually on time! They were able to determine that we had a bad hose on our new washing machine which tripped the auto shut off valve (learned to always put a new hose on when upgrading appliances despite what the installer may say). Only 'complaint' was their $165/hr rate. However, we did get our moneys worth in terms of professionalism and knowledge. If we needed a 'big' job done, I would be hesitant to spend that kind of money. However, if you demand high quality work and above and beyond professionalism, they are certainly worth the price!

There was no communication from the technician, so I called the company two days later . My call went to voice mail, so I left a message stating that I was after an estimate to do the plumbing work. I received no call back, so I called again two days after that and spoke to the woman who answers the phone. I explained that I had not received any price or estimate for the work. She told me that someone would call me back with that. Once again, no returned phone call. I called again for a third time, a week after the technician visited. I questioned why I hadn't received a call, and said how poor the service was, stated that I am an Angie's list member and would give a poor review. Then the owner got on the phone and basically yelled at me for my assertion about my poor review. Definitely ranks up there with some of the worst service I have ever had!

They're very professional. We had one of the owners and he brought a younger guy with him. When they came into the kitchen, they spread out a hardwood floors. They put a cloth before they put all of their tools down. They did all the work and took them a lot longer than we expected them too. After they were all done, they came and left just like they've never been there. We're new in town and we looked them up on Angie's List. They actually showed up earlier than scheduled. They were here about 15 or 20 minutes earlier.

Everything went fine with A J Dauphin and Son. They did a good job. They were friendly and very accommodating.

They were on time. They were very professional and very polite. They went out of their way to help. The charge was reasonable for the quality of work provided. I am very pleased.

The estimate was scheduled quickly and I had the quote before they left. When I called to schedule the work, I was able to get an appointment within a couple of weeks. The men who did the work were professional and did a good clean-up job when they finished. I also appreciate their attention to detail. They had to cut the deck to replace the drain pipe and they did an excellent repair of that too. When they fixed the cast iron pipe in the basement, they confirmed that the movement did not cause a leak at the kitchen sink. This was more difficult than it sounds. There was a fixed panel in front of the sink that I did not know how to remove. They figured out how to remove the panel without damaging it and replaced it before they left.

After trying my best to identify and locate the problem which was further down the drain pipe than I could attend to myself, I called Dauphin and Son whom I had used previously to install a kitchen insinkerator. The two fellows who came to the house were certain about the problem, and using a power snake/roto-rooter, which went down the drain pipe about 15 feet, made sure the pipe was clear to the next larger pipe. They also inquired about what had been put down the insinkerator recently and advised us not to put pasta or potatoes which swell with water or stringy vegetables, such as celery, in large quantities down it. Total time in the house was about 45 minutes. All is now working fine.

The phone number listed for the plumber was not a valid mailbox number with Verizon. I was not able to leave a message in order to request service.

He was very professional and prompt. He explained his services and fees accurately.

I tried to fix problem by replacing the cartridge. It did not work. I called A. J. Dauphin and Knute and Jon came out same day and did maintenance on the fixture because I had just replaced the cartridge. They told me to call them the next day if it was still leaking. They did not charge me at that time for the visit, but said we would settle up once we knew the problem was fixed. The fauet started leaking again the next day and I called and asked them to replace the body and cartridge. They came out again the same day and fixed the problem. I will definitely be using them in the future if I have any more plumbing issues.

The work was completed efficiently and my hot water heater is functioning as expected. A minor problem occured after installation that was attributable to Delmarva. DAuphin responded promptly to my inquiry, correctly identified the problem and referred me to the person at Delmarva who quickly remedied the problem. My decision to use Dauphin was not wholly based on price, but I had 5 estimates and Dauphin was the lowest. I purchased the hot water heater from Sears and bought an extended warranty. Most of the plumbers wanted to sell me a Bradford White hot water heater. Dauphin said they like Rheem but were willing to install any hot water heater I wanted.

They came out and did the work quickly. They also only charged me half the price of a normal service call which was very nice. They were also very prompt, they actually came within two hours of my call.

He repaired a faucet in our kitchen that came apart and he fixed a problem I had with a drain in the bathroom. He changed a valve and fortified the faucet in the bathroom. He is very knowledgeable. He was very responsive and came out the very next day after I called. I am pleased with the service provided and would use him again.
