He called the next week after lunch one day and said they finished a job nearby early and could come in an hour if that was ok with me. I said it was; four men and two trucks arrived and were finished in about 90minu

 + -1 moreThe contractor called on the day promised that they would be here soon. Upon arrival, they went straight to work. The crew of three were punctual, professional and courteous. They took a twenty minute break for lunch and went right back to work. In about six hours they were complete. When future tree service is required, I will not hesitate to call on Dickie's Tree Service.
Description of Work: Cut down an old elm tree, cut the pieces into fireplace length and stacked. Left the stump for the kids to play on.

 + -1 moreTheir estimate to do the work was the lowest bid. I was waiting for them to schedule the work but they called early Monday morning and said they had a cancellation. They wanted to know if they could come that day. I said okay and they showed up an hour later. $ guys work all day and completed they job. I increased the scope during the day as it became apparent that additional work was needed. We negotiated the additional cost and the work was done. Very good company, easy to work with.
Description of Work: Cleared brush, vine covered trees, and some small trees from the woods behind my house. Some tree climbing was necessary to remove vines from larger trees.

Description of Work: The crew did a fantastic job, cutting down my huge dead tree that was bounded on both sides by live electric wires. It was a dangerous job because the branches were so brittle that it posed a danger of the cutter falling. They cleaned up, removed the wood, replace my fence and replanted plants that had to be removed to get the equipment in my yard. Of the six estmates I obtained, Dickie's Tree Service was the lowest. I would go to them first if I ever need this kind of work done again. And I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
