Description of Work: House was damaged from a tree falling on it. Insurance wouldn't cover much (Wish you had reviews for insurance companies). So, Joe knew my budget was tight. He and Brian did a great job repairing and even did a fix it job for me that wasn't related to the tree damage. I am very happy with their work. Also, very nice.

 + 0 moreWe had no idea of the extend of the damage until Joe began removing windows which revealed extreme damage to our home. Complete removal of the front wall of our home was absoutley necessary. We had to order new windows and doors but the floor also needed repair as well. This project revealed short cuts in the orgianal construction of our home. Every time we opened up part of the wall more damage even to one corner of the house needed new support work as well. All new sideing and trim was required to complete the job correctly.Work was a bit longer than expected but he warned us of the fact due to the nature of water damage and what can result. Neat and tidy job site at the end of the day.Could not have found a better person for the job.In fact he is going to put a new deck on our home very shortly once permits are granted.We chose time and materials which we were pleased.I would highly recommend Grime Construction and definitley use them again.
Description of Work: General contracting, such as carpentry, electrical, both inside and out. Removal of entire wall of house studs, windows, doors. Rebuilding correctly new walls two stories high and reworking several fixed windows. Repair of subflooring and finish flooring on both floors. Dry wall, painting, finished trim work both inside and out. New vinyl siding and trim. Proper installation of windows with correct preparation of openings which was the cause of our problem once we removed windows.. it revealed that they were never flashed correctly. Coordinating material ordering and recommending betterr solutions for some parts of the work. Rebuilt a fireplace/entertainment wall area of living room at same time..very responsible for care of our furnishings and their protection during the work. scaffolding was used and care was taken in it's use. Do it the best and right way only is the attitude of the builder which my wife and I admired each day of the job.
