Carpet Daddy’s, LLC. is a privately owned and operated family business. We are not a franchise and we do not have any large company affiliations. We have almost twenty years of experience. Additionally, my wife and I have five children between us ranging from two to fourteen years old, two dogs and three cats. We have seen every type of stain & have experienced every type of odor life can throw at you. Once you try our service – you will never go back to those high priced, dollar driven companies. We didn’t go with them. They were nice and all but we found a better business to do the deal with. They were prompt and came when they said they were going to come. They were polite and all. We got a better price and that’s why we went with a different person. They were very professional. They were very nice to talk to.

Work was performed on scheduled date and time at an unoccupied condo used for vacations only. Contractor was polite and helpful during contract negotiations held over the phone and work site was left clean and orderly. Contractor may have left the residence before the drying took effect and results were apparently satisfactory to contractor at that time! Payment in full, by check, was promptly mailed to the contractor within a few days after work was completed. Later, condo owner, living out of state, contacted several individuals convenient to the work site and requested they visit the condo and inspect the finished appearance of the work. These observers commented that the carpet cleaning turned out well. However, upholstery did not appear to turn out as well as expected. On 11/6/16 I left a voice mail message for the contractor, requesting that he return to the work site at his earliest convenience and evaluate the appearance of the upholstered items now that they've had time to dry. I have not received a reply from the contractor as of this date and time.
Description of Work: Carpet cleaning in three rooms and two small hallways, to include cleaning of two upholstered chairs, one sofa and one small ottoman.

They were very thorough, they gave me ideas about how to keep the carpet clean and what to use and not what to use on it, they explained about, I have two cats and how to keep the cat spots clean.

Called when en route, arrived on time. Dan was courteous, professional and diligent, taking 2.5 hours to survey, vacuum and treat all HVAC vents and intakes and our dryer vent. He removed considerable construction debris, sawdust and carpet fibers from our vents (apparently the first cleaning for our 10 year old house). We look forward to improved HVAC performance. Although their website features numerous coupons, the bill presented included all advertised discounts and was actually slightly cheaper than expected. I'll definitely hire them again!

If this person did actually try to call us and leave a message, I apologize that we missed the message and did not call back. We are a small business and every customer call is very important to us. We do not have a call center or multiple employees to answer the phones like many large businesses do. We have one receptionist to handle 5000- 6000+ calls per year. We try our best not to miss any calls, however we are human and it is possible that a call/message may on rare occasion slip through the cracks - we are human. It is unfortunate that this person feels that it is necessary to trash us - or any small business - immediately on-line for not returning his call, without first giving us the benefit of the doubt and trying to call us again. Ryan was the service technician that came to the house, and we were not only pleasantly surprised, but thrilled at the job Carpet Daddy did for us. The carpet and stairs look amazing. We had used a national carpet cleaning company in the past and they left the carpets so wet and soggy it took days to dry and they were not clean. When Ryan finished, the carpets were slightly damp, but not soaking wet and dried in just a few hours. He told us that at this time of year, it could take quite a while to dry since and warned us to be careful transitioning from the carpet to a hard floor as it was gong to be slippery. We will never call anyone else to clean our carpets. They showed up on time (even giving us a call to let us know they were on the way), honored the price we had seen on a coupon and were a great company to work with. Thanks Carpet Daddy!

First, I was very put off on the woman I spoke to on the phone scheduling the appointment, she made me feel like I was bothering her. She said "just tell me how many rooms", when I was trying to explain what I would like done. Not a good first impression. Once I scheduled my Saturday appointment, I asked who would be coming and she said he would call me. Of course Saturday comes and I spend all morning moving everything off the floors, and he doesn't call or ever show up! I wait until 3pm and try all 3 lines listed for the business and they are all full mailboxes. I tried for over an hour! Then left an email on the website. Absolutely unacceptable! The woman calls me Sunday and leaves a message apologizing, claiming she called from her personal cell phone they had a problem with their schedule but never left a message Saturday saying any of this but had no problem finally leaving a message Sunday after I emailed them. She was offering a discount but its way to late for that!
Description of Work: I schedule an appointment for Saturday , September 19th, from 1-3pm. I scheduled this appointment 3 days out, I was very happy that could fit me in on Saturday due to the fact that I had an open house on September 20th. They offered me a good price for the rooms to be cleaned. I wanted the entire second floor cleaned and my basement. Approx 3000 sq ft.

Short explanation: We rely on and count on our employees to show up on time and do their job properly. We serve the better part of 3000 customers per year. Unfortunately (and thankfully very rarely) we encounter an issue due to human error, equipment failure, and yes even acts of God. We are not perfect, but did our best to notify this customer, and rectify the situation with the offer of a 50% discount - I don't know of any company that would make that kind of offer... And at the end of the day if it was the only way to make this customer happy (or any customer that we failed), we would have offered to do the work for free... I think it is very sad for people - like this customer - to run to the internet, Angie's List, etc to try to ruin a good business's reputation without first trying to give them (us in this case) a fair opportunity to rectify the situation. Actually, it's just not right. The Facts: 1st: We try not to schedule our technicians with jobs that will keep them working late on Saturdays so they can have time with their family on the weekend. We squeezed this customer in on short notice to accommodate her... My receptionist was not rude to her when she scheduled the appointment. She simply asked the customer to tell her how many "rooms" she wanted clean - instead of having her continue on with square foot calculations - because we charge by the room/area which always ends up in our customer's paying a lower price. 2nd: Our technician who was scheduled that Saturday called me late Saturday morning with a legitimate severe personal emergency which would preclude him from coming into work. We are a small company and no one else including me was available at that short notice to jump on a van and service the customers. After getting the voice mail several times when I tried to reach my receptionist on the work phone (she does not work Saturdays but typically checks the work cell phone for messages throughout the day), I called her on her personal phone. She told me that she was out of the house for the day with her family and forgot the work cell phone at home. I explained the situation, and then texted her the phone numbers of the customers that needed to be called and asked her to apologize that this happened, and authorized her to offer everyone a 50% discount if they would like to reschedule. My receptionist called this customer's cell phone number from her personal cell phone at approximately 11:40 am left her a message stating what happened and that the number she was calling from was her personal cell not the business line - in case she did not recognize the number and wanted to return the call. My receptionist did not receive a return call on her personal cell from this customer. This customer did send an e-mail at 3:44 pm which I did not see or open until around 4:30 (I generally spend the weekends with my family instead of working, and don't monitor my e-mail all day Saturday and Sunday on any type of schedule...). In her e-mail among other things this customer stated that she tried to call our business numbers and they all said that the mail box was full (all of our phone numbers are transferred to one cell phone which my receptionist should have had with her - she is human and forgot it when she left the house). After I read the message from the customer, I called the business line and sure enough the mail box was full. I called my receptionist who had not been home yet and asked her to clear the messages as soon as she got home. On Sunday my receptionist made another attempt to call this customer (from the business line). She got the customer's voice mail again and left her another message. I've used CarpetDaddy's for several years now. They are easy to deal with, extremely affordable, HIGH quality, and take pride in their work. Called with a small window of availability due to moving away for a job - Carpet Daddy's provided service with the utmost professionalism - showed up on time, completed shampooing all carpets and removed coffee stain spots on a light-colored berber carpet!
