Description of Work: we agreed on hardwood flooring at a certain price per sq ft. The product delivered to be installed was a lower grade wood, NOT the flooring that had been agreed upon! This felt like a a scam.... would never recommend using this company.

Description of Work: I had a problem with flooring from one of the box stores and called Hazel they were great. Very comfortable to work with, not at all pushy and I saw that the quality of the work was first class. I was so pleased with the first job they are about to install another floor for me as soon as it comes in. I highly recommend Hazel. Buy there with confidence.

Description of Work: I visited this shop once and had a wonderful conversation with the owner about LVT. The manufacturer I was interested in was not available at this retail outlet. The owner was going to follow-up to see if this would be a manufacturer he might be interested in carrying. Since I didn't hear from him, I called several (3) times and left messages for a call back. Never heard a thing. I have subsequently ordered the flooring from another retailer for a total order of $13,000. Too bad...wanted to shop locally. Many shop owners do not realize how important responsiveness is.

Description of Work: We contacted the owner after several phone call attempts by walking into the store in the early spring and asking him to measure our floor and give us an estimate. He was supposed to come that evening to measure but called to say he was held up at work and rescheduled to the next evening. He came, measured, we showed a sample of what we liked and he said he'd get back up to us very soon with an estimate. We never heard from him again. We called him repeatedly for weeks but the answering machine was full. After about a month I finally was able to get a person to answer and he said that he was very sorry and that the owner was out of town. He couldn't find a file on our estimate but would have the owner call us with the estimate by Monday. We never heard from the owner. We went with another company on the two rooms we needed to get done at the time. We still needed to do one large room with laminate and still wanted to use Hazel Flooring due to his reputation for being good in this trade. I walked in on 7/23/13 when I saw an "Open" sign on the door and talked to the receptionist. I told him my story of how we had waited and had to use someone else to carpet the 2 bedrooms but would like to use Hazel Flooring for the main room still. He again was apologizing. I emailed him the laminate I had picked out and told him that the owner should have the measurements somewhere to please contact me by Thursday if they want the job. He said they would be sure to contact me this time and still was apologizing. Friday came and still no word from anyone there.

Description of Work: I called Hazel Flooring for an estimate to remove old carpeting and clean my wood floors under the carpet.

Description of Work: They removed old carpeting and padding in my master bedroom suite and one additional bedroom upstairs. Installed hardwood flooring in those areas.

Description of Work: I purchased engineered wood florring from them, and they installed it shortly after.

Description of Work: Hazel Flooring installed carpeting in my rec room.
