I would honestly rate this contractor an F. He stripped the old siding off my house and left the house "naked" for over two weeks before the new siding arrived and it took another two weeks for him to complete installation. Consequently, the new windows he installed caused leakage into my interior walls because the siding was not up to channel the rain away from them. This caused interior damage to my walls. When he "completed" the job he left gaps between the juncture of the new siding and the exisisting roof which caused rain to seep into my ceiling and this caused significant water damage. Prior to his work my old roof and windows didn't leak. I am still addressing the roofing issues and need to have extensive repairs which ABRC is taking no responsibility for correcting.
Description of Work: New windows, siding and doors. Without authorization, created a joint connecting existing roof with new siding. This consequently created leaks in my roof that previous to this work, had no problems. Significant interior damage occurred due to shoddy workmanship. Contractor refused to address the problems although repeated requests for him to correct it were made.

Although I did not need a new roof I was adding an addition to my home and decided to unify things by adding a completely new roof.... Approximately 5 months after it was installed I noticed water damage on my living room ceiling...I asked ABRC Roofing to come out and take a look @ the problem.... After MANY calls they came back....they told me that the area near my chimney needed attention and supposedly repaired things...10 months later, after a another heavy rain, I had the same stain, in the same spot on my ceiling...This time they just ignored my calls...I had someone else patch the flashing around my chimney...All of this took place approx 4 years ago...Recently we've experienced serious rain over the period of a few weeks and the same stain reappeared in the exact same spot as the first...I contacted my insurance company to see if it might be covered, explaining that it was in essence a new roof...They recommended that I contact the original roofing company since the "time for repose" (bring a claim) in DE was 5 yrs...I have called ABRC Roofing 4 times, twice setting up appts and twice leaving messages...They never showed up to look at the job or returned my calls....I did not even mention that they had done the original work...I asked them only to come out to view the problem and give me an estimate....Obviously, they must have done a drive by.... Remembered that they we the installers of the roof in question and have decided to ignore any calls or contact from me....Needless to say these guys DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!....I wonder what all that decision making on the, 25/50/100 year life of the shingles they discussed w/me was all about...Glad I only went for the 50 year variety.
Description of Work: Had a new roof put on my home.
