Woltemate Lawn Care

I like him very much. He is always here when he say he is going to be here and we've had a lot of rain here, so he has done an excellent job of getting it cut. He is very neat. I was cutting the lawn before and trimming it and blowing it, so I can really appreciate what they are doing. They do an excellent job. I would recommend them to anybody. I think their price is very reasonable.

They take care of our front lawn for us. We get an invoice and then we pay it on line. It is very convenient. I get the invoice in the mail. They come every two weeks. When I come home I see it's done and I don't have to worry about it. They communicate with you if they have a question, I can text and he will text me back. If he says he'll be there tomorrow, he'll be there tomorrow.

They provided great prices, punctuality, responsiveness, quality, and they were very professional. The only thing I didn't really like is that they got all my emails but "one" where they made a mistake. Basically I wanted bi-weekly mowing, and they only offer weekly. I had to cancel because I'm not interested in weekly mowing. Because I cancelled, they basically told me now I had to wait atleast 3-4 weeks for them to help me clean the yard waste the tornado caused to my house this past week. I took it pretty personal. While they score an A on every attribute above, they handle complaints 100% wrong in terms of customer service. I would recommend them if you want weekly mowing though.

Denis called me back immediately with a positive jovial vibe and quoted me a great price. He followed through with precision and is just a nice person as well as professional. Great choice!!!

My 1st Angies List review! We needed approx 1 acre of property cleaned up with 1/2 acre needing major cleanup of many years of fallen leaves and branches. The Woltemate crew of 7 came out at 5 pm and were done by 8 pm and did a FANTASTC job. I had other quotes of $350 and $375 and that was just for the back half with all the branches and leaves. Woltemate did the whole yard taking away brush, leaves and many branches. They blew off all the dust they could off the walk and driveway. Would recommend them strongly.

Denis is a great guy. Very easy to communicate with through email. The lawn service so far has been excellent. What I've liked so far is the consistency. Always doing the service weekly. I also like how the lawn isn't cut too short. I always seem to think that my neighbors cut their lawn too short and too often. I'm definitely liking Denis' service better than my old provider, not to say that the old provider was bad, but the old provider was unpredictable of when they would show up. I also thought the old provider cut the lawn too short and caused bare spots around the trees with their lawn tractors due to our sloping yard. Denis ensured me that he would try and do his best to prevent the bare spots around the trees. So far so good. With all other lawn services out there, I would highly recommend Denis, for their service, pricing and consistency.

The work is done when scheduled, the job is thorough, and they have beat any other estimates I've requested. Denis is extremely nice and efficiently uses email to contact his customers. I have never actually met him or his crew, because the work is always completed while I am at work. I will be using him for additional services in the near future.

I communicated with Denis via email on the web page for his business. I asked for an estimate on a Sunday for yard clean up and lawn cutting. He was very prompt with a response. He came to the house that Wednesday to cut the lawn. That was impressive.

When Denis's crew arrived, I changed my mind at the last minute from the original work of just trimming back to clearing it totally out. While it cost more than the original estimate for much less work, it was done that day with no complaints for the additional time I would be using the crew. No trace of anything was left in my yard or driveway six hours later. When it was done, I was delighted to I have another 20 feet of property along the back length of my fence. My neighbors were glad to see the stuff gone as well. I got Denis's name from a co-worker for mowing when I moved in July 2011and needed a mower. It was already late in the season to add another house to his work load, but he said it was no problem. His price is incredibly reasonable, and his crew will adjust to any needs. I am also using him for yard maintenance and care this year, as his service is cheaper than what I've used for the past several years. Extremely pleased, and now one of my neighbors uses him as well. It's a nice feeling when I come home and see that his crew has come, and everything is totally cleared of grass clippings.

Very reliable & the price was reasonable.

Denis has been maintaining my lawn now for two summers. He is always reliable and responsive even to last-minute requests for an "emergency clean-up" for a spring or summer barbecue. Very reasonable cost for weekly cut - front ant back yard. Hope to continue to use his services for many years to come.

My experience so far has been terrific! They began taking care of my lawn in May and it has never looked better! I don't recognize it! They mow the lawn and trim weekly and have done one application of fertilizer/weed control. My yard (front and back) is 2/3 of an acre and I'm charged $35 for each cut. But, my yard is challenging. My back yard is fenced in and ther are about 10 tree stumps in varying stages of decay and a few ornamental trees, hostas and planting beds to trim around. And, I also throw them a curve ball every few weeks as I re-seed areas of my yard and setup sprinklers. They take all of it in stride and my yard looks immaculate. Also, as I was deciding on a lawn contractor, Denis quickly and patiently responded to all my questions and continues to do so as I go through my first summer with them. I really appreciate that!

He's been mowing for about a month now - has been consistent and reliable.

They did an awesome job. My expectations were surpassed. I would definitely use them again.

Their service is excellent. They are very reasonably priced. I like them a lot. I have always done by own lawn work, but I had a knee replacement surgery a couple of years ago, so I needed a lawn service for a couple of months and then I never let them go. The fourth year is coming up after I started using them. I use them for mowing the lawn and fertilizing my lawn. They are very customer focussed. Also, they do offer landscaping services, but I don’t take advantage of that. I would like to give them a high rating for their work.

I had contacted them and asked them to clean up my front and back yards--three large trees and lots of leaves, sticks, and general seasonal debris. I called them on a Sunday afternoon, they answered the call immediately and due to limitations on their end, requested a later call or an email description. I emailed them instructions, they inspected the property the following day. They asked questions via email, and I called to clarify. They emailed a proposal with a 'window for completion'. I emailed them approval and reiterated instructions, and they confirmed 'window of completion'. Four days later the work was completed! No 'ups'; no 'extras'; the perfect contractor!

Denis responded quickly and did an excellent job at the agreed upon price.

He used to do our field once or twice a year. He was great. We didn't have that much contact with him but he was great. I got a lawn service that my neighbor was using too where we got a better deal and he also does our field when we want. When Denis was doing the field I had no complaints, he was fine and very good. I guess I would definitely look into using him if I needed him again.

They do the lawn when they are supposed to. I have not had any issues with their service. Denis is very responsive and helpful. They have also done spring and fall clean ups for me.

Denis Woltemate has been out here a couple of times for one job. I am still waiting for the final bill because I had some extra stuff done. It was about $195 and that’s without the tree that he replaced. He contacted me through e-mail and we talked. I told him that I have a dead spiral tree and I asked him if he could replace that. I ended up having that replaced. He said that he would send me a bill towards the end of the month. He did a really good job. The communication was very good. He responded right away when I e-mailed him or called. He also did what he said he would do at a fair price. I am pretty sure the final price would be a fair price too because the original price was fair. I would use his services in the future too.
