W B Lightning Rods

Lightning protection is a fairly exotic trade in the private home market, with only a tiny fraction of all homes having them so the number of lightning installers is very small, and the cost probably much higher than one might think. WB Lightning Rods however significantly undercut the one other contractor of which I am aware in our state. They were most professional, very pleasant to work with and completed the installation on our fairly complex 5600 SF roof in just two days. I would recommend them unreservedly. Tim Sappington AIA

Easy To Work with.

This is a small family company founded by the present owner's grandfather. The owner and one of his sons personally installed the lightning rods on my house and used extra care to make them as attractive as possible, hiding most of the cabling, making the visible parts graceful and symmetrical, and mounting a pretty weathervane on the center of my roof.

They got my business because they were more responsive than the other vendors.

William and his son did a great job. It was a simple process of installing a few rods on the roof that took less than an hour. The rods are still standing and the house was not stuck by lightning, so I have no complaints :)

William & Ed (father & son owners) were very quick to respond to my email inquiry, and fortunately were going to be in my area a couple of weeks later. They arrived on time and finished all the work in a few hours. My home was hit by lightning several weeks ago and created about $2,000 in damage.
