W B Lightning Rods

I recently had a lightning rod system installed on my home by WB Lightning Rods. In contrast with other contacts made for this installation, WB Lightning Rods responded in a timely and informative manner. My contact was with William Burden, Owner & CEO. I found Mr. Burden to be knowledgeable and articulate. Although prepared to ask a series of materials and installation procedure questions based on researching residential lightning rod systems, Mr. Burdenâ s description of both was thorough to the point that all my questions were answered without asking a single one. I found Mr. Burden to be ethical. He expressed concern over the long-term viability of an aluminum system in my coastal location. He rescheduled my installation when inclement weather was forecast rather than risk the safety of his staff and the quality of the installation. He was willing to perform the installation on a Sunday when the forecast called for more inclement weather early the next week. Mr. Burden and his staff arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. Affable, pleasant, and courteous they undertook the installation with a notably positive attitude. Mr. Burden was present the entire installation ensuring consistency with the specifications of our contract. The installation was completed in two and half hours. In conclusion, I found WB Lightning Rods to be expert, honorable, professional, and quality driven. When Mr. Burden requested my approval to post a small WB Lightning Rods sign in my yard at the completion of the installation, I replied that he could rely on it to be a permanent fixture. I have never had a better home improvement experience. . .

Professional, knowledgeable (and able to impart that knowledge clearly), personable, and did what the company representative said he would do. I already had a lightning protection system installed some 25 to 30 years ago. The company representative took time to explain and show (where I could see on the ground) the deterioration that occurred. I had a new system installed by the representative and his helper the day of the visit. They completed the job in about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. They took time to explain once again what they had installed. They took all the parts of the old system away with them. If asked, I would recommend them.

William and the crew seemed like great guys, they came out as scheduled and finished in just a few hours at the quoted price. And the product is very subtle - you barely notice the small rods along the roof line.

Not sure where lightning rods would go. Spoke with contractor and work done the following day.

The initial verbal exchange with the business owner on the phone made us feel very comfortable and assured that our goals would be accomplished with expertise, They scheduled the installation of our lightning rods very quickly (2 days) after we initially were in touch with them. They arrived within 5 minutes of the anticipated arrival time and completed the installation of the lightning rods on our two houses and one garage in about 6 hours. All of the members of the install team were very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. They were trustworthy, superior professionals, had excellent skills and were respectful of our residence and property. There are still many loose ends, but William has been the first contractor that Iâ ve dealt with who completed what I needed done to my satisfaction and in a timely manner. I felt the quote was.a little on the high side after searching the internet, but on the other hand, the job was done well and efficiently, addressing all concerns. Bonus is that they will come back to check on installation at no charge down the road. I thought a little pricey, but did a very good job. He did save me money by fixing my old exhaust fan. I was able to take my new fan back. Very friendly and is a people's person.

William did an exceptional job in communicating in a very timely manner his quote, responses to my questions and alerting me to a bit of delay in arriving to complete the job. William and Edward installed my system leaving the system looking exactly as William described it would be. In fact, I ended up needing one more lightning rod, for which William did not charge me. The entire experience was painless - William and Edward were very professional and completed the job without taking a break. Very impressive.
