Unwanted Clutter

Called them at noon, job was done by 3. Tenants left lot of garage and I would have been fined by the city if didn't get it out quickly. Not to mention that overnight animals had gotten into some of the trash and it was spread all over the place. They came out within 45 min of the call and got it done for a good price. They didn't even charge a fee for the quick turnaround. Would recommend and use them in the future.

I used Lou and his crew a couple of years ago and was so happy. When we realized the garage was in complete junk mode, I immediately thought of them again. They were on time and REALLY flexible about scheduling. We had originally scheduled them for tomorrow, but then once we saw the thunderstorm forecast, we called back. They were great about rescheduling and came today. I explained that in some cases, we still weren't sure about getting rid of things, Lou was patient and understanding. To our surprise, an hour later, there was more stuff in the truck then we thought! Happy dance! They swept out the garage, they explained their recycling and Goodwill sorting and it just SUCH a relief to see how much better the garage looks - hey we may even be able to get our cars in there soon! As for the guy who wrote the bad review? I can't even imagine what delusion he was laboring under. We have more stuff to go (an attic, back porch junk), and we will be calling on Unwanted Clutter again soon!

The team arrived from Unwanted Clutter a few minutes early. I was met by the most courteous and professional service I have recently encountered. The entire team was outstanding, friendly and most efficient. They literally were done within 30 minutes of arrival to my complete surprise. I live in a very old house with small doors and spaces and very tight stairs. These items of junk the men removed were extremely heavy and bulky, they made it look like "childs play". This team of professionals completely evaluated the egress potential of the basement, first and second floor and very smartly negotiated all turns and angles without ONE mark on any wall.....unlike the movers who brought most of this stuff in years ago. I would absolutely recommend Unwanted Clutter for anyone getting rid of their junk. A fair price and complete satisfaction is what you are guaranteed to receive. I can't compliment them enough.

The Unwanted Clutter Team came to our home to remove over a ton of stone and dirt from an existing stone patio that we inherited when we bought our house. They were quick, courteous, efficient and removed everything in a half day as they promised. We like to support local businesses, and it was a pleasure dealing with a team from the area who knew what they were doing. If we ever have more unwanted clutter, we'll definitely be calling them again.

Unwanted clutter removed 3 items from my basement...none of which I could have handled myself. They responded to my contact immediately came in 2 days to give me an estimate. I hired them on the spot due to their professionalism and a fair price. Very pleased!

They advertised a service for taking away cluuter. They advertised $375 a truckload, they did use three truckloads, but ended up charging us more than advertised. They usually send a scouter out ahead but did not. We hired them to take items to Goodwill,but we never received an itemized tax receipt. They instead returned with a paper with siganture. We don't know if they actually dropped the items off or dumped them. They behaved in a very unprofessional manner and were rude to us about the whole situatio. We had to get out of the home, so we used the service, in that respect they did a service because we were able to get the house closed on time because of them hauling the items away but it was an unpleasant exchange.

I called and got same day service which was great. The 2 workmen who came were very polite and gave me a very reasonable price. I recommend them to anyone needing to haul junk and will use them again.

I can't say enough about this company and their personnel! From scheduling an appointment for an estimate, to the removal of 10 years worth of clutter, everything was immediate and STRESS-FREE! The gentlemen who removed the clutter were prompt, professional, personable, and removed everything in less than an hour. In this day and age, it's refreshing to know that there are still companies that deliver what they promise -- with no hidden surprises.

These gentlemen could not have been better in the way they worked and in their very professional and courteous manner! My experience with this company started with the call returned to my initial phone call. The young woman was most pleasant and accommodating in setting up a schedule. The first day was scheduled for between 10 and 11 am. The crew arrived at 9:55 and the same for the second day. It took two days and 4 box truckloads to haul away so much clutter, file cabinets, paint cans, and, sadly, my dead and moldy moist collection of vinyl LPs from the 60s and 70s. I had been anticipating this clean out for years and dreading it. These men eagerly went to work with nary a complaint or judgmental look at me, considering the enormity of the problem. They even cleaned off shelves and separated wanted from unwanted individual items, checking with me for thumbs up or down. I would have turned around and left if I were them, but they worked and sweated and grunted and they got the job done. Everything, including the freezer, had to be lugged up the basement steps, through a narrow door and through the kitchen and down the yard into their truck. When they went on lunch break the first day, since I insisted they take that break, my wife and I nervously joked that they would probably not return. We thought they'd quit the business and collect unemployment compensation. But they came back, and again to finish up today, the second day. These men are most professional AND ethical. I nearly had to strongarm the foreman, Lou - or maybe it's his business - to accept a monetary tip for my appreciation of the sweat they put into this. I bought a few cold sodas and water to hydrate them on a very warm day. Lou insisted he pay me for them and he wouldn't accept NO from me. Anyhow, I realize I am gushing about this company, but they did what I thought couldn't be done and my involvement was minimal. I cannot recommend this company, Unwanted Clutter, highly enough. I will be sure to have them back later to tackle the attic (not as bad), and I think they will actually come back!!! The charge was $375 for each large truck load. Considering the work of a 3 and 4 man crew, up narrow steps, loading the truck and then unloading the truck at the solid waste authority, the price was very fair.

I contacted them through their website and received an answer within an hour! I wanted to stay with a local company - no offense to the chain haulers. Sue arranged a meeting at my old house for an estimate, and the crew showed up promptly at 9 a.m. Saturday. They had all my stuff (and there was A LOT) loaded and taken away within 2 hours. The entire crew (all 4) were pleasant, friendly and professional. I felt comfortable with all of them and they encouraged me to be as much of the process as I wanted. They were also protective of my health conditions, "Don't pick that up! We'll get it!" I liked the fact that it's a family run business and that they didn't try to tack on extras or take advantage of me. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
