Their prices are reasonable; they are probably not the cheapest but they do good work. It is a good outfit and I will use them again in the future.

After charing me $180 to replace an A/C capacitor (that was their home care club price), I questioned why a $20 part that costs 10 minutes to replace would cost me that much. Response was, well that's what it costs. Two years earlier a tech recommended a brand new furnace (to replace an 8-year-old system), but since not once did a tech recommend it again or mention the problem that may require something new. I had a $4,000 tankless hot water heater put in. Although service and installation was good, I ended up needing an expansion tank, which was never mentioned as a possibility to also be needed.I am moving on and will now be working with a local plumber and local HVAC company who hopefully cares a little more about their customers and wanting to keep them.

Three quotes; Sobieski had the most professional salesman; he said Sobieski would not be the highest or lowest bidder and he was correct; installation was completed in 8-9 hours; came back the next day on my request; I truely would and already have recommended Sobieski to others

They do the ongoing maintenance of my furnace and air conditioning unit. The most recent service was under my home care plan. They do a good job. They are prompt and professional. They seem to know their business. I have an advanced thermostat and they know as to how to maintain it. Their price is good. I have been using them and I have been very happy with them.

They are my contractor. They installed a new A/C system a couple of years ago. They have my heating, A/C, and plumbing contract. Dealing with them has been quite good. The plumbing guy was very professional, but he was also looking for sideline business for himself. He isn't technically licensed in this county. There were a number of items in my house that he brought to my attention, including replacing my heater. I wrote to the company about it, but they didn't seem to comprehend that they have a guy with a problem. Generally, I've had a good experience with this company, but this guy was a wild card. I felt like he was holding the work hostage.

I have a service contract for my heating and air conditioning unit with them. They are going to come back on Friday for a full check on my heating system. It was a standard service call when they came out in the spring. The technician who came out was really nice. I need to get some plumbing done since my house is getting old enough. I haven?t yet called them for the plumbing job. They are a big organization and they do all kinds of stuff. They deal with commercial and industrial applications. They deal with all the technical issues and are very multifaceted in their expertise. It?s interesting that they have got that kind of reach. The sales person that I dealt with was excellent and he is still with them. He took care of me when I wanted to use their services. I had got a couple of other bids from other people for the HVAC and he had impressed me the most. I spoke to him recently and he told me that he would help me. I may have them do some ductwork cleaning in my house. I would get a quote for that job and they would come out to look at some of the technical things. So I have got a good working relationship with them. They once came out on a weekend in bad weather since there was some problem with the furnace. There was some kind of tape that was put on the duct coming out of the furnace. So they changed it to a different kind of heat proof tape and luckily it was a small issue. I had to first explain to them as to what was going on and then the technician came out to fix it. They are probably not the cheapest down here but they are competitive. They are probably in the same price range as another heating and AC company. I think I am getting what I am paying for. They are generally punctual, but the technician was late once because of the traffic and he called me. However, he did a nice job when he was here. He even adjusted everything with my unit. He fixed my unit once and didn?t charge me anything for it. I would use their services in the future too.

I felt that I was terribly overcharged for the amount of work done. The plumber was here for 30 minutes and replaced a spigot and about 8-10 inches of copper pipe...$320! Maybe that's the going rate for all plumbers for that job but I intend to look for less expensive alternatives. On top of the price issue, the plumber did not provide an estimate, walked through the house with wet shoes (it had been raining), and never mentioned that there were coupons on their Web site that I could have used to save a little money. I will never use Sobieski again and would not recommend them to anyone.

We need to replace our heat pump system so I called this company and scheduled an appointment with one of their sales person. We live in another state so my tenant was nice enough to stay home that morning to wait for the sales. The appointment was supposed to be on a Friday morning, between 8-12. By 12 noon, nobody came and nobody called us. So I called the firm and the sales called me back saying that we had a miscommunication about the time. He thought it was Friday all day. So we agreed to change the appointment to 12 noon on the following Sunday so that we can drive to the house and meet him. Since it's a 2 and half hour drive for us to get to the house, we tried to schedule 3 appointments on the same day, so we can get as many quotes in one day as we can and make decision quicker. I had 10am, 11am and 12pm appointments scheduled. Again, this sales from Sobieski did show up at 12pm, and until now, not even a single phone call to us. I could have met with other company sales if this guy didn't take up the 12pm slot! That's so much I've experienced with this company and will NEVER do business NOR recommend them to friends!

We called them in the summer when our A/C broke. A week later (after much sweating and after several other estimates from other companies), a salesman FINALLY called to set up an appointment. Once the sales guy paid us a visit, he explained everything well and gave us a quote. We received another lower offer from a competitor, and the sales guy worked with us to match the price and system. It was a shame that we had to haggle to do this, but we were pleased that we ended up getting a better system at a lower price than the original quote. Even more impressive is that we were able to do the haggling over the weekend with the same sales guy. He returned calls quickly -- even on the weekend. When we signed a contract for installation, we had installation scheduled for the next day. When installation day came, the installers were on time. They removed the indoor and outdoor units. The new parts were a little late in arriving so the installers had some wait time, but stayed past 6:00 PM to finish the job without any complaining. They installed and tested everything in one day as promised. We're now cool in the summer and have even noticed a slight dip in our energy usage! Would recommend to a friend without hesitation.

They are very timely in coming out. The service technicians are very professional, and they pay good attention to detail. They also make sure everything is left very clean. They always stick to the estimate. They bring apprentices with them, and they try to give young people a chance to develop their trade.

Men arrived to perform work for a service contract and informed me only one unit was covered. This is the second year of service with this company, last year both units were serviced under the $189 price. When I called the company to discuss while the techs waited I was told that to service both units it would be double the price! I pointed out that the units where serviced by their techs twice last year under the same contract price and I would not be able to justify paying double the price when I was not informed of the problem until the day the service was to be performed. This was very frustrating since they didn't bother to call and discuss this issue with me. The appointment was made at least two weeks in advance of the date of service. They were unwilling to place any of the blame on the company. I promptly asked for a refund of the service agreement charge.

It was a great experience. Do not let the high price tag startle you, this was a tough job that some HVAC guys outright turned down, and we went with high-end systems. The estimate was right on, things were explained to us completely, yet in a way we could understand. Work was started and completed on time. Installers were knowledgeable and polite. While this is not an evaluation of their subcontractor, they were great as well, and who people work with says a lot about them and their commitment to customer satisfaction. Everything was left clean, and we were taught how to use the system. I also waited to see how it would work, as this job was done 6 months ago, and it's been great. Promised efficiencies have been realized in our utility use, and when one very minor part needed replacement several months after the install, the response was quick, courteous, and done with. I have already given this contractor's name to a co-worker.

CLEANING OF FURNACE WAS VERY QUICK. SEEMS TO WORK OK BUT ALSO SEEMS MUCH LESS TIME SPENT THAN ON OIL FURNACE.
