STAY AWAY. Does as much damage as good. Took him to State Attorney General and BBB but he knows the trick is never respond and they can do nothing. I really didn't feel like going over it again so here you go... Complaint to State Attorney General This job began in September of 2008, it was completed in late November. From the very beginning we were promised everything would be completed to our satisfaction and if there were any issues, they would be resolved. All proposal business was conducted with Simon of SB Services. We were told we would be involved through every step of the project so we could make changes and decisions as the project proceeded. In many cases this did happen, and in some cases the price was revised to reflect this however there were instances where this did not happen and it would have been very useful. Example, if we had been given the option to use PVC piping opposed to black plastic corrugated piping, we would have taken that option. Clogs can easily be cleaned out of PVC while it is near impossible to unclog corrugated piping without damaging it. PVC is also much more resistant to tree roots. After the initial agreement of the work it appeared Simon subcontracted the work out to a gentleman named Bill of B&B Services, at least that?s what the greeting on his voicemail said. Contact with Simon became very infrequent and we were told Bill was our contact. This was disappointing because we initially looked forward to working with Simon. We did not have the same comfort level with Bill and over time began to feel Bill did not have the same expertise as Simon. We conveyed that concern to Simon however most of our contact remained with Bill. The following spring after payment was rendered and we conveyed our concerns we continued to communicate with Bill for the most part. Eventually we told Bill we wanted to talk to Simon directly. When we finally got in contact with him he told us he had not called us back because he forwarded our calls to Bill. He told us he would answer or calls going forward and he did for a while eventually the replies died out. The only time we could get an answer was when we call from a number unknown to him but that ended quickly. Neither of us had time to call from other phones. He knew the home and work numbers. We got the message. Due to the late time of the year the project was completed, many of these issues did not become apparent until spring of the following year. There were many phone calls in attempt to have these issues resolved. On many occasions, we were told the weather prevented working. After repeated calls there were two visits, one in the spring of 2009 and the other in the early winter of 2009, to assess the situation. None of the problems were resolved and over time our calls were eventually ignored. After contacting legal counsel we were directed to contact the State Attorney General?s office before further legal actions. Our concerns are outlined below. Downspout Issues Downspout drain on left side of house, in front yard does not go to the street. This drainage caused a huge bubble in the sod when it rained (see photo). Simon cut a hole in the sod in the Spring of 2009 (see photo). This exposed improper drainage technique for middle of yard drainage. It was unknown to us that the drain exhausted approximately 10-15 feet from the curb. It was also placed in the middle of the yard opposed to the edge of our property. Downspout drain on right side of driveway does not go to the street (see photo). This are stays wet and has become an infestation spot for mosquitoes. Rear-center downspout drain was clogged. After digging the trench the pipe was damaged (see photo), repair technique unknown. After digging up the backyard in December 2009 to determine problem, we were told the pipes would be replaced with PVC pipe. This area was left dug up, they never returned or answered/responded to phone calls. I has to replace the dirt to stop the rain water from running to the house in the holes. Photo shows current condition. Rear-left side downspout drain has collapsed. This resulted in water in basement. The collapse has been verified by a neighbor with an underwater camera. We have since used an extension to run the water away from the house. This results in additional water puddling in the yard. Photo shows how water has washed away the mulch to drain under the deck to the house. Waterline Excavation Issues It was established that the top soil in the waterline trench would settle resulting in a dip in the yard. We were promised that they would return to fill the dip to level that area, this has not happened (see photo). Yard Grading Level grading was one of our highest priorities, however the final grading of the yard was not level. We were told many swells were put in the yard for drainage. Although these ?swells? were put in the yard there are still multiple areas where water pools after rain. Additional top soil and re-grading of these areas was to be done in the spring of 2009, this has not happened. Walkway We requested a walkway on the right side be constructed in a manner where a truck could straddle it to get through to the back yard. The material between the slate has washed away reflecting poor construction. Owner?s Material SB Services accidentally removed some of the owner?s original Belgian block. The block was to be returned but has not. Based on the block used at the house 23 and the number from the pictures we have 37, there is a balance of 14 blocks that need to be returned. Photos are available. There are numerous additional photos available upon request.

Never showed for about a week. Then when they did, they didn't show up everyday. Then the phone call in the middle of the job to say they needed more money from what they estimated me. they will only answer there phone when they want money and the quality was poor as my patio holds water. This company is not good, as I would suggest you not use them if you don't want to throw your money away.
