Rick Bailey Painting

Well done job as contracted. Kept us advised as the job progressed- very pleased.

Rick provided me with an estimate up front -- and then delivered on that estimate.  There were no surprises later.  Also, I found the price to be reasonable -- and dealing with Rick to be very straightforward.
He prepped everything very well -- which was especially a big deal, given the state of some of the walls -- and then took care of the painting.  There were a few times that he offered suggestions or asked me questions to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted. 
The work was done professionally and perfectly.  I would absolutely recommend him.  (I am new to Angie's List -- or I would have written this review much sooner!)

Rick was very professional throughout the project. I was impressed with how thorough his preparation work (spackling, caulking, sanding, etc.) was before any actual painting began. He arrived on time every day and was always neat and tidy. I liked that he is an owner/operator who does all of his own work; I preferred this to having a crew in my home. I would definitely hire Rick again.

It went extremely well. Rick is very conscientious about his work, and does not shrink from performing to the owners idea of perfection. He is accommodating with dates and times, and is very solicitous of the owners needs. He spent a third of his time repairing and priming the work decrying the modern primer/paint combinations now available from paint manufacturers to be certain it would look it's best. Even though I, as owner, provided the paint, he went on his own to pick up some extra from the provider. He moved all of the furniture and accessories around multiple times and covered all of the surfaces with plastic to reduce the amount of dust from sanding the filler, spackle, and paint used in the completing the work.
p.s. He has a dry sense of humor and is a pleasure to work with.
I highly recommend his services. He is truly a classy professional.
