Great company who sent a well-qualified technician to my home and he did a fine job. I had another minor project and requested a quote to to the installation. The cost quoted appeared to be very high so I shopped around and got another plumber who did the job to my full satisfaction at half the quoted price of Mr. Rooter. So it depends what you prefer and want to spend.

Zach arrived on time, was friendly and knowledgeable. He spent some time reviewing our project needs and quoted pricing. My significant other and I agreed to some of the work that was a critical priority. Zach did a great job and we were pleased with the work. We asked for other pricing and were a bit shocked at what appeared to be very high costs. We later got pricing for the same additional work we desired from other highly rated (Home Advisor) repair vendors and their pricing was about 30 to 50 percent lower. We selected one of the other plumbing vendors and will proceed with the desired this week. In summary, Mr. Rooter appears to be a fine company with highly trained technicians who do great work. Their pricing for some of our proposed projects tended to give me chest pains. Shop around and do what you prefer. I worked for 40 years in running large purchasing departments in corporate America. You can pay just about any price for anything and still get quality products and services.

I hired him to replace the hopper for our toilet and we were price gouged. He was here for 3 hours, I bought the materials and he changed 1,539.95 that is outrageous and a total rip-off. I never received a receipt or paperwork for my project.

George from Mr Rooter came out today to repair a toilet. After he left, an unrelated portion of the plumbing experienced a burst pipe. He came back as quickly he could and fixed the broken pipe. I really appreciated the quick return to repair the issue. I was very satisfied with their work.

Tim came out the same day on a holiday weekend. He replaced the water line and shutoff valve, and the internal mechanism of the toilet.

I came home to a leak in a basement pipe to the upstairs bathroom. Home Advisor connected me to Mr. Rooter of Newark. Sal was here within the time promised, quickly evaluated the issue, and fixed the problem within 45 minutes. Excellent service for a reasonable price, especially for after hours service. I would definitely recommend them.
