Description of Work: Miscellaneous plumbing tasks, including shortening heating pipes to allow for more headroom in basement, adding cut-off valve to gas supply, and replacing basement floor drains and check valves.

Description of Work: Honesty Services came out to provide a quote for replacing the outside sewer line on our property. Another company determined that it was needed due to being unable to clear line after back up. | |Before they could provide a quote and determine the extent of our sewer issue, they asked if they could try to clear the line so that they could place a camera inside to determine the cause and where in the system the problem was. Initially, they were not able to clear the line, but were able to locate the clogged area outside. They provided two possible solutions to us along with estimates. We scheduled the outside work for a week later. The day prior to the work beginning Danny, the owner, called us to ask if he could come out again to retry working the clog so that we could possibly avoid the more expensive options. They came out and attempted to open the line. Progress was made and the area of clog was now very close to the street. It was determined that no further progress could be made from the inside port work -- They were now pulling larger root systems. The next day, Danny and his team came out and dug up a targeted area of our lawn to be able to try to extend his earlier progress and allow for drainage and full camera views of the drainage pipe. They were able to push further through the blockage by placing their power auger through a hole made in the existing outside pipe. This new work pushed the backup further along and now entered into the street area by a number of feet. No further work could be done by Honesty. They completed their work by placing an outside clean out port and filled in the hole. | |Due to the ongoing blockage being in the road area, Danny informed the County of the problem and after numerous follow ups with his contact convinced them to get their investigative team over to view his team's findings. The county viewed the sewer line from a nearby manhole cover and found a major root blockage and sewer line breakdown. The next day, the County came out and handled the remaining issues. | |Honesty Services lived up to its name. They went way beyond the norm to try and fix the problem without having to tear up our front yard. They provided a great service and were reasonably priced for the amount of time and efforts received. I highly recommend Honesty Services. We were very pleased with their work and professionalism.
