I got three estimates. I chose Ferris for several reasons: 1) one of the other companies over estimated the size of my roof which would have cost mean extra $1000; 2) the other companies sales approach was to try to convince me how bad the other companies were, it had the highest estimate BTW; 3) the Ferris salesman was very helpful, answered all of my questions and left me with a very detailed estimate. I was originally scheduled for the second week in June, but the weather allowed them to move that up to the last week in May. On the scheduled work day, the roofers arrived on time. They covered all of my shrubs with tarps and all of my vulnerable windows with plywood sheets. The work went well and they finished on time. The whole time they were very professional and cooperated with all of my requests and answered all of my questions. At the end of the work they cleaned up, ran the magnet to pick up any loose nails and even fixed my free standing mail box which got damaged sometime during the day.

The Saleman was thorough in explaining how the work would be done. The team of workers were hard working and cleaned up after the job each day. Their workmanship was excellent. They finished the job in the timeframe they had told us up front. We highly recommend them!

The worker did a good job as was expected. I have no complaints regarding the work. My complaint is that in their promotional advertising they offered a $199 special for "a small job." I don't know how much smaller the job would have to be to qualify. I feel this is a deceptive piece of promotion. I called the office and talked to two separate women who did not seem to understand that charging about $250 for labor was outrageous. The last woman I spoke to, who was someone from the operations group, said that $200 an hour for labor was the going rate. I don't pay that much for an auto mechanic, dentist or doctor for small jobs.
If they had classified this job as a 'small job,' it still would have meant charging close to $100 an hour for the labor for which I would not have complained.

Ferris was a wonderful company to work with from the initial consultation all the way to the finished kitchen. They started the project on the time and Mike checked in throughout the entire project. I thought the schedule to complete the job was aggressive but Chuck did an excellent job and finished it ahead of time. I would definitely use Ferris again.

It went very well. Wayne was on time, did the work efficiently, finished in about 5 hours, and the details were attended to. The frame, molding and trim is lined up and all the edges and corners meet. Caulking on all seams is clean. The door opens and closes without dragging, it is airtight. I don't have to lift the door to get it to shut. I am thrilled with the installation and with Wayne doing a professional job. Thank you Wayne and Ferris Home Improvements.

From Spencer coming out to give us an estimate through the installation process everything was perfect. Friendly, explained everything, professional, and quick. Took care to ensure the dogs didn't get out, showed up on promised date and time, and used quality materials.

Starting off with the estimate, Mike was a very polite, responsive, and courteous. We received the estimate in a timely fashion. We received estimates from several other companies and Ferris was the best and most economical. We chose Ferris b/c we could supply all the fixtures, tile, and construction material on our own. We could control cost and pick exactly what we wanted. We were not pressure to use a specific supplier or product. We had complete control and this is exactly what we wanted. Not only that but Ferris advertised that they work to do it right and that is definitely true! Wayne and Brandon were amazing!!! These two guys did the entire job from start to finish. We had constant contact with Wayne and he was always responsive about changes we wanted to make last minute and extra work. We cannot say enough about how professional and amazing Wayne was with overseeing and performing all the work throughout the project. The entire renovation took 6 weeks from start to finish. Both bathrooms were gutted in 2 weeks and the rest was put back together in just 4 weeks! The quality of work was exceptional. We were beyond impressed with the attention to detail. I will definitely hire Wayne and Ferris again for any project in our house.

Ferris is a great company to deal with. Prices are more than fair, and the sales, customer service and the technicians are great. Ask for Mike and Jim they know what they are doing. Jim found some other problems while replacing the window. He showed me the issues which were nasty, had the fix and materials and when Mike came by for the price adjustment which was very fair. They offer a 10% discount, please ask but if you forget they will do it anyway. I highly recommend this company. They are awesome!

It went great! The finished project is amazing. Start to finish was less than two weeks. The workers were professional, pleasant and punctual. They were available when we had questions, and were quick to respond. I would happily use them again for any future projects, and highly recommend them to anyone. Awesome Experience!

I wanted more natural light in my living room so called a few contractors about cutting through the wall to add new windows. Most did not have the expertise to do this for us because the exterior is stucco. Ferris was able to do it all from start to finish and even finished in only a day. The windows look great and I've received many compliments on them. They look like they've always been there! They also installed a storm door the same day. The door screen is very heavy mesh - not what I was expecting, but I like it now. Don't have to worry about it getting damaged by the kids or dog. It does look dark because it is so thick, but it's very durable. Very happy with everything!

Ferris Home Improvements was very easy to deal with from
start to finish; from our roof with skylights, windows, down to our powder
room. From the ladies in the office, to the project manager; they were great!
They left the yard cleaner then how it was before the job started. Very
reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend this company.

They could have maybe tidied up better. I had no problems with them. They were approachable. If I had concerns, I would let them know. I would use them again. I found them very professional and they were a good group of guys. They were laid back, they worked hard and worked all day. I already did refer my niece and a co-worker to them because I was pleased with their work. I'm still waiting for a call back to find out when they are in. I'll probably call them tomorrow to see if the shutters are in yet. When I called them to say that it was falling off, they said they'd send somebody out there to get it looked at but unfortunately we had a wind storm that blew them off. They had to end up ordering them.

We had Ferris replace our roof last month and we couldn?t be happier.  It was our first time using them but my wife had done the research and legwork on Angie?s list and Ferris was the best of the three companies we contacted for proposals. 
Our home had suffered some snow and ice damage on the roof and the skylight the previous winter. We realized it was more than just a repair and we needed a new roof. After 15 years of living here, it was time for a whole new roof so might as well get it done right. Size-wise, it ended up being 16 square when it was done.
I spoke to Kelly at the office and she had Matt come out and do the initial inspection and give us our quote. Not only was it the lowest quote we received but it was less than what we budgeted for, so we were really pleased.
They were patient with us while making our choices and Matt even brought out samples to the house to make my wife feel more comfortable with our decisions. With the savings, we were able to upgrade our skylight and add remote operated blinds (my wife?s favorite detail), as well as replace all of our gutters and downspouts.
Ferris showed up on time on the day that we were scheduled and Michael handled the job, leading a crew of seven men. They completed our new roof in one day in bitterly cold weather and when my wife came home she said they cleaned up our yard better than the landscapers! Due to the weather, Pablo returned a few days later to complete the gutters and downspouts. That was completed that in a half day. Pablo was very good in redirecting the new downspouts into better positions to keep water away from the foundation and help with the appearance of our house too. I should also mention Jim was very patient will all my questions as he walked me through how the skylight blinds worked and made sure I understood it completely after installation.
With the weird weather last month, they let us get a couple of snow storms under our belt before having Matt do the final walkthrough and collecting their final payment, just so they knew we were satisfied. My wife was very happy with the final look of our architectural shingles and it was so great not worry about roof leaks anymore, no matter how hard it snowed. We highly
recommend them and would use them again.

I am very unhappy with these people. I had a deck put on and the guy told me that basically, he suggested it and I followed his suggestion and I'm very unhappy. they want to charge me another $4000.00 to change it.
The deck was put in a year ago October. The last time they were out was probably in December. I was not very happy with them.
They didn't level anything. It's ground level and they didn't level the ground. When they were done there were places that animals could get in underneath. The color of it, they told me it would be easy to clean. I can't get it clean, I can't keep it clean. They said that it would be no maintenance other than to take a hose and wash it off, which is not true. On a dark color that wouldn't matter but because it's a light gray, it's a lot. It was supposed to be a 15' x 16' and they cut it down to 15' x 15' and took $200 off.
They are just rip off artists as far as I'm concerned.

Ferris Home Improvement's completed job resulted in a modern, full bathroom that looks outstanding, fills our needs and enhances the home's value. The necessary drywall work (removal and reinstallation) was bound to create some dust; the mess was minimized though, due to the contractor's diligence in isolating the work area and by cleaning up as they worked. Ferris showed up on time each day, stayed on the job continuously (bearing in mind that a bit of time is lost when cement has to cure, before new drywall may be sanded etc), and offered creative ideas on how to make the shower area look like it was always an integral part of the bathroom (not an add-on). Both of the mechanics were competent, friendly, respectful of our property and took their time to ensure that the tile job was done right (lots of attention to detail). The plumber who they brought to handle the water supply and drainage of the project was prompt, knowledgable and did a very competent job; that work had to be coordinated with the floor and walls installation and was done with little or no impact on the project schedule. The salesperson was honest, knowledgable, and easy to reach when needed. Up front, he made us fully aware that a four-month lead time would be expected due to their crews being booked that far ahead, but the project began the week that it was projected. Three weeks after the project's completion, I have found no shortcomings (but many compliments).
