"We hired Lucas, owner of OCD Handyman, to do various small jobs on our house since we were planning on putting it on the market. We paid Lucas $25,000. He told us all his work comes with a warranty. He gave us a 3 year warranty on waterproofing a section in the crawl space. Immediately after the job was done it rained and water came in. Lucas told us we should regrade. We let him regrade and paid him additional money. It rained again and water came in again. When we contacted him about the water he gave us many reasons for this. We asked him why we gave him more money if he knew the regrading would not work. He did not have an answer. He also installed a fence which fell apart. He said he would fix the fence and give us a partial refund for the regrading. Several months have passed and he has not repaired the fence or send us back the refund that he promised. Lucas will give you a warranty on his work but it is not worth anything. Lucas worked for us for approximately 3 months straight and we gave him a lot if money because he portrays himself as being a honest person, obviously he is not. If there is a problem with his work he will not fix it. Unfortunately we are going to have to sue him to get our money back. This is not what i wanted to do. Donâ t believe anything he says!!!!"

"The Window People did an excellent job replacing an exterior door in my home. The contractor was very polite and capable and the door looks great and he cleaned up the area nicely when the job was done. I knocked one star off of my 'customer service' rating for the following reasons: First, he asked me if I had any caulk he could use (which I did, and which I offered him, but I think this should have been HIS responsibility, since it's something that a contractor should expect to bring with him to do the job, not something that you need to rely on the customer to supply (unlike the actual door, for example). Secondly, he asked if I had a caulk gun that he could use (which I did, but again, shouldn't the contractor be expected to bring caulk and a caulk gun to a job site where he knows he will need it?). And thirdly, he asked if I had a hacksaw that he could use to cut the molding (which I did, and which which I offered to him, but again . . . .). In any case, I am delighted with the work that was done."

"Just Doors installed a new entrance door, storm door, and 11 new windows, last year. All have performed excellently through an exceptionally hot summer and now a bitter cold winter. Denny and Min were professional and efficient, and the price was very reasonable. In addition, Denny did a beautiful job rebuilding the transom over the front door. Along the way, they installed an electronic lock on another door, and came to our rescue when we attempted a DIY door knob replacement. Denny also had to put in a lot of extra time and attention due to a manufacturing defect in the storm door. In short, they did a lot and the work and service were excellent."
