Finding the right builder is as important as finding the perfect home. And when you begin the new-home-construction journey, you want to feel you’re walking with an ally. The right builder is a partner, someone who cares enough to be responsive to your needs and questions. Someone who communicates honestly and has the integrity to honor commitments.
At Blenheim Homes, we have been living up to those ideals since 1982. We don’t just answer questions and keep promises, we also listen to our homebuyers. And we depend on them to be the inspiration behind some of our most successful innovations in home design. You can depend on that degree of commitment from every level of our organization.
The new home is delivered with a list of things that still need to be done, Upon closer examination, that list becomes even longer. The warranty issued by the builder is useless since they have demonstrated no intention to complete the warranty items. It is disappointing to purchases a new home and have so many problems so soon, especially since most were avoidable if the Builder cared about the product they delivered to the customer, It is even more disappointing that the Builder chooses to blame the homeowner for wanting the issues resolved to an acceptable standard. It beomes frustrating that the Builder wastes your time by placing unqualified contractors in your home that requires multiple visits to correct their mistakes for the Builder's repairs. After you sign the sales contract, there is no integrity or business ethics demonstated by Blenheim from the Sales, Construction Site, Customer Service through the VP level. There are better options available for housing.
Description of Work: I purchased a new home from Blenheim Homes in March 2013. They are not responsive to completing warranty issues. The 30 day walkthru items have not been completed after 6 months. A full bathroom has not been operational after a leak for 4 months since they will not commit to a completion plan.

We did purchase a home from Blenheim but do not keep your expectations high. They will oversell everything with upgrades but once installed with dings dents and damages, refuse to correct the appearance. You will be purchasing a new home in used condition. There will be paint over everything, carpets counter tops , mirrors. They will not try to correct any situation for a permanent fix, only whatever is cheapest and not guaranteed to last. The foundation cracks and wet basements is the worst. They refuse to fix the problem and will not be responsible for any damages due to inferior craftsmanship.
Description of Work: If you are looking for a home quick with mediocre craftsmanship then this is the place for you. Expect to do work yourself to be done correctly and right the first time. The neighbors and community are a delight.
