Description of Work: I had contracted for two separate services: beehive removal and ant treatment. There was a lot of confusion during scheduling- they accidentally cancelled the service call. Then, they were unable to confirm that both sevices were done after the fact- they were for exterior work, so I was not home. They had to come out twice. I spoke to both the office and the technicians repeatedly throughout. I'm still not sure as to the cost breakdown, as the quote I got was over the phone from a technician on the road. Although everyone was helpful, it was a lot to go through for a simple job.

Description of Work: We signed up for an annual contract for dealing with stink bugs and ants. they were supposed to come out any time we called. We had them out 3-4 times in year 1. The second year of the (renewed) contract, maybe 7 or 8 months in, on the second call about stink bugs they said that stink bugs weren't covered and we would have to pay extra for the visit. We argued the point and they never produced any document that said that stink bugs were excluded - unlike termites which are specifically excluded - but they wouldn't come out again for the stink bugs. Their service both for the ants and the stink bugs was effective and their service techs were professional, but their annual contract is far too expensive when they start excluding more and more unspecified pests.

Description of Work: We have been using APM for termite insurance for a number of years. A few years ago during a routine inspection, they noticed an infestation and took care of it right away. The treatment was covered by their insurance, so it didn't cost us anything. Always a positive interaction.

Description of Work: Have had a contract for yearly termite inspections. When I was away this summer my home was invaded by bees. I found @ 60 dead ones & many more swarming trying to get out. They located how they were entering my house & sprayed at that site. It took a second treatment that was included. They responded quickly but that may be because I have had a contract with them for 28 years.

Description of Work: I called APM and they were able to set up an inspection and quote the very next morning. APM's representative arrived on time, promptly completed the property inspection and completed a quote. He was friendly and professional. APM immediately scheduled my service at a time convenient for me in the next few days. The service man was prompt and completed the work in a timely manner explaining everything he did. There was no pressure to buy additional services. I will update this review in the coming months to elaborate on the effectiveness of the services. So far, APM has done an outstanding job.

+ -1 moreThe operators were very nice, sweet and nice to talk to. The bad side was this was a bedbug cleanup and they only do chemical cleanup; heat is much more effective. Had I known this at the time, I would have gone with another firm, but not because APM was bad in any way. They did eventually get the job done adequately.

+ -1 moreWe thought Phil Kreer's company, APM Advanced Pest Management was great. They got rid of our pests. They will come out anytime you want them to, after the two initial visits. Specifically, we were getting the centipedes and mice and they did directed pest control. We haven't seen a centipede since. They used to be in our bedroom crawling up the wall. He totally got rid of them. The mice were skittering around in the attic and then they'd get down in to the kitchen. We haven't seen a mouse since they came, either. Phil seemed extremely experienced and competent. He explained what he was doing, and it is a family owned business and he seemed to take pride in what he was doing. He actually liked going after those centipedes! We feel assured that they are reliable and they listened well to what we were describing. They discussed it and went through everything with us so it made us feel secure that they understood what we needed and wanted. They had a really positive attitude about the job and helping us. He totally took care of our pest problem.
Description of Work: APM Advanced Pest Management handle our pest control. There are two initial visits and then they are on call. This is the annual charge.
