Description of Work: Received a verbal estimate for services (siding w foam /insulation). Called and asked for a written estimate for just siding. The response was to have the company's boss come out and talk to us. All we wanted was a written estimate for siding. They had all the measurements. Never received a written estimate, so we did not consider them.

Description of Work: We signed up for Angie's list big deal for winterizing our roof , since we noticed a small leak on our stone wall above our fireplace after our last storm blew threw. I called Rodney on Friday because the fellas installing our gutters told us they could not proceed because it looked to them that we need a new roof. Rodney called us the very next day and made plans to come out Wednesday at 0230. He showed up promptly on time with a big smile. He was back in 15 minutes with pictures, recommendations and great news. Our roof was in terrific shape; we only needed some masonry work on the chimney structure and he said we would probably get another 5 more years from the existing shingles. I thanked him for his honesty and integrity, such rare qualities to find in todays world. Thanks Angie.

Description of Work: I just want an estimate for repair work on my roof - they charge $75 just for an estimate. Of course, IF they do the work, it comes off the price - but for that I know there have to be places that give free estimates who have good workmanship. Talked to Conan -
