After the roof was installed, were responsive to a service call regarding a leak in the roof after a winter with very heavy snow fall. It was repaired promptly at no charge with a clear explanation of what caused the leak.

 + 1 moreI Highly recommend Advance Window and Siding for any work you might need to have done that they provide. Also, if you need roofing done, they are associated with Kuhn's Roofing, who we had do our roof around ten years ago. It was then, and still is, one of the best-looking roofs on the road. BTW, I rated Advance 'Straight A' (even in Price, even though I mentioned I could have gotten it done for less); because I still could've paid even more also, for no better a job. Go with Advance! Description of Work: Replaced four very old, rusted-out basement hopper-style windows. Contacted Advance Window and Siding to give me a price on the above mentioned work. They sent out Roland, the sales rep, the following day. The appointment was for early in the morning; and he called to let me know he was running just a little late (and asked if that would be OK. I appreciated the courtesy call. When he arrived, we walked through the job to be done in the basement, and he sat down with me on our front bench (very friendly and casual), and quoted the job. The price was reasonable; and I believe I could have gotten it done for less elsewhere, but over the past 20 years, I have contracted Advance to do everything window/roof/siding/attic related on our home. Why change now! The work was scheduled to be done in three weeks (at my request). The communication from Lauren in the office about the schedule and their expected arrival time was excellent. The installers, Gary and Kevin, arrived promptly as expected, and were friendly and courteous, and got right to work. Before I knew it, the job was done (windows installed and trimmed). And the job was very well done at that. They cleaned-up, and were on their way to their next job. Business as usual for them.

 + -1 moreIt went terribly. They then sent out the same sub contractor to fix it and he told me that Advance is a shotty company. The sub contractor wanted to repair everything without Advance even knowing about it. I refused that. None of the other sub contractors Advance gave me phone numbers for, kept their appointments to repair my ceiling. Advance finally sent someone else out to fix the roof. I had to pay, myself, for the repairs. I will never use them again!
Description of Work: They replaced my roof with a sub contractor and a crew. The roof leaked immediately.

 + 0 moreDid not like getting hit with additional township fee after the fact. Did not like having the roof go up when it was too cold - it looked bubbled but has settled since. Did not like minor damage to vinyl deck from roof debris - still there to this day. Otherwise it was a great job and as far as contractors go in my experience I can't ask for more. Nothing was destroyed or seriously damaged and the quality of the end product was superb.
Description of Work: New roof - new siding around perimeter of roof - new roof light portal.

 + 1 moreBill was very professional and patiently explained the problems we had and how he was going to fix. He seemed very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problems quickly. He showed he wanted to do a quality job and took pride in his work. For example he added some of the shingle pebbles from the gutter to cover the caulk where he patched the nail holes, he carefully replaced the siding where he fixed the flashing so its not noticeable, he used existing shingles to fix our fireplace roof since new ones would be very noticeable as the roof is at eye-level on our deck, and the repair to the roof matches very well even though the existing roof is 8 yrs old.
Description of Work: 1. Fixed row of shingles that blew off in wind storm. 2. Diagnosed leaking window and fixed flashing. 3. Diagnosed water stain on ceiling and caulked unsealed nail holes from siding pump jacks. 4. Diagnosed wet smell at fireplace and installed missing row of shingles and caulked large hole in siding.

 + -1 moreIt didn't go good. From what I think about what they only did was talk around and he wanted to charge me a whole lot of money for a new roof. It took them long to get here just to look at things. Maybe because they were located in Delaware or because of miscommunication or confusion.

 + -1 moreAdvance Roofing Windows Siding & Doors did an okay job, the guy didn't walk on the roof, he just put the ladder up and looked over the roof, so I wasn't too satisfied for that. He quoted an exorbitant amount of money. He did arrive on time, he wasn't very friendly. He just put the ladder up to the roof and stood on the ladder and guestimated what should be done.
