 + -1 moreThe ABC owner and his two crew members were very professional, pleasant and capable. The crew did a thorough job of cleaning up after demolition of the old wood fascia and soffit. The owner came out several times to oversee the work and to inspect after completion. He was friendly and especially helpful, explaining to me with a diagram what needed to be done when providing the estimate. I was completely ignorant of the construction, having been thoroughly confused by previous estimators. He also suggested a good idea for a future fix of another separate problem. After completion, there was a minor, confusing fascia concern at the end corner that was related to my roof. The owner himself came out quickly to remedy it, and everything now looks great. I had a number of estimates that each included variations, so I could not compare prices exactly, but ABC's price seemed excellent. ABC was the only company that offered to remove the greenery filling up my chimney cap. ABC is a general remodeling contractor providing many types of home services that I would feel comfortable having this company perform.
Description of Work: ABC Home Improvements did a quality job of repairing my rotted wood sub-fascia and installing new PVC fascia and soffit and also new aluminum downspouts. My gutters were removed, and the wood fascia and soffit (rotted in several places) all along the lower back of my house were replaced with PVC material and with a new aluminum under-vent strip. The rotted structural wood behind the fascia in several places including the end corner, was replaced with new 2" pine. Another rotted area above my back sun room windows was repaired with a strip of PVC all along the area. Everything was thoroughly caulked. When replacing the gutters, two new larger downspouts and elbows were installed to improve the gutters' drainage. In addition, a chimney cap was removed, and weeds and vines growing on the chimney top for many years (not adequately removed when the cap was installed) were removed and the area was treated with Round Up.
