The guys showed up on time, were very friendly, professional and performed their job with care. We could not have been more pleased!

Very disappointed with our moving experience with this company. We received an initial quote based on an in-person assessment of our belongings - the owner came to our home, toured the entire home and provided an estimate. Our final invoice was triple the amount of our original quote. Through no fault of our own - nothing changed on our end from what the move involved; no items were added. Owner offered to move the date up to avoid bad weather, which was appreciated. However, our initial estimate was for 3 hours with a crew of 5. Instead the move consisted of half the crew, and it took about 14 hours across 2 days. My husband had to essentially join the crew just to get through the move. It feels as if a much lower quote was given to secure the job, and we can’t help but feel swindled. It’s unfortunate because we were hoping to go with the same company for our final move in 6 months, and now that is absolutely not an option. I can understand an estimate being off by a few hours or a few hundred dollars, but for the cost to triple is unacceptable. The move itself was decent enough, just expect it to take 3 times as long, and cost 3 times as much as your initial quote.

SH Haughton handled two moves for us over 6 months. I cannot say enough about the compassionate service, professional service & care in which this company handled our move! Our possessions were handled with care first packing 2 containers & a storage unit, then coming back 6 months later unpacking into our new home. From the first phone call to lovely Beverly through the move we were so satisfied with every minute of both moves! Thank you so much Solomon & Beverly for taking such good care of us! We were only moving from the third floor to the first floor. It took an hour and a half for them to just get the furniture into the bedroom. 2 of the men with were very helpful, but the man who was driving seemed to be slowing everything down. We were very unhappy as my husband was upstairs directing them with which rooms needed to be done first as we had cats in one of the rooms until we could get them downstairs into the master. At one point, we got a call that they were in the room the cats were locked in, after he had expressly told them to not go in that room. Needless to say, we will not be using this company again. Especially as we paid time and a half and our friends and family moved more than the movers did and had to come back the next day to help us finish.

This is the second time I've used SH Haughton for a move. The movers were as efficient and quick as the first time. I love that my bed and other items were dismantled with care and put together with the same level of care. Should I move again, I'm using these movers again!

Fantastic! These guys are super hardworkers. They unassembled and reassembled our big items. We had a pretty big move and they were just great.

After calling many other companies we decided to hire SH Haughton Moving. My initial search was to find someone with affordable rates. However, I quickly learned that affordable rates were simply not the only deciding factor. S H's customer service and communication were exceptional and I will definitely refer this business to others. We secured a date and time with S H. Two days prior to the move, I realized I did not secure a truck big enough for the entire move and all other trucks were not available. Ms. Beverly quickly resolved the issue by offering us to move one day earlier which was about 5 hours after realizing the error. They were timely and took pride in moving the furniture out of storage into a home. A simply thank you is not enough to express our gratitude in changing the move date and time within short notice. Everything went smoothly with our last minute move despite the short notice we had to give them. They were accommodating, friendly, professional and courteous. This is the company to use for moving services. Office staff was professional and courteous. The moving crew were professional, efficient, hardworking, went above and beyond and were very careful with our property. All furniture that was broken down for safe moving was put back properly at the new location. You will not be disappointed with this company.

The move went very smoothly, crew was respectful, considerate and worked in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend them and Beverly who secured my reservation was extremely helpful.

They packed my POD so well. Nothing slipped out of place or was broken on the drive from Delaware to Texas. They securely wrapped the furniture and bedding in plastic wrap - no scratches or dents. And Beverly was so helpful and friendly in arranging it all over the phone. I would definitely recommend them.

My wife and I used this company to move our furniture‘s and appliances. They were exceptional! They bubble wrapped the furniture, carefully packed and unpacked them, and placed the items in our home- nothing broken or scratched. They were outstanding and we have no complaints. I would recommend them to anyone and more importantly, I would use them again.
