+ -1 moreThis company installed a new garage door for us in 2004. Have had them do other repairs including new springs in 2014. Called them in Dec. 2017 and setup morning appt. on 12/14/17 for repair work. No one showed up that morning. When I called the office in the afternoon that day, I was told that my name was not on the work list for that day and the service manager had left for the day. Told that he would call me the following day. It is now almost the end of February 2018 and no one from that company has contacted us.

+ -1 moreI like them so much, I am looking at new garage units for my other house, pending product, I will be hiring them to do the work.. I will let you know how that goes when the weather is nicer here.
Description of Work: Garage Door Springs broke, this is a repeated issue over the last few years and found myself upset and ready for the excuses when I called, but instead I spoke with Joe who assured me that they would be out to take a look and do what they could. The Quality rating, reflect their steel supplier which offers NO guarantees, as most, but Overhead-Door stood behind their work, even after their warranty time had lapsed. As promised, Jimmy was at our house less than 24 hours later at 9am in the freezing weather, he replaced the spring which was provided free of charge and serviced the rest of the door, he took time to review issues and provided education on up-keep. They offered honest advice, "don't replace something that is working if it is not broken, it has years left and when I does need replacing, just let us know". They were not out to spin a dollar, honest and hard working.

+ -1 moreThey came out to look at the garage door which had a working motor, but that the door wasn't opening. He went to look at it and quoted me $720.00 to do the repair. I told him it was for my son and to contact him. He never called my son. I can get a new one bought and installed for less from Home Depot.

+ -1 moreWhen door and parts arrived at dealer, I was contacted to schedule an installation date. The day before scheduled installation I was called and advised that tech was not available on that date. Rescheduled and techs arrived on time on new date with everything needed to complete job. Installation was finished in less than 4 hours. Techs were pleasant and answered all my questions. Old door and parts were taken away as promised. Work area was left clean. I would recommend this company. I gave them an A, but delays might be an issue if home owner had an old door that was not operating.
Description of Work: Ordered one of their best quality insulated 7' X 16' double garage door and all parts for installation. They require half of total cost deposit when order is placed. It took longer than expected to get door. 2 weeks was estimated delivery time, however, it took more than 3 weeks. I was advised by rep of delay. The delay was not an issue for me since old door still worked. If my old door was not operational this may have been a problem.

+ 0 moreI have used this company in the past and was really happy with them. I had a bad experience using another garage door company - I think it was called Precision, which I used because I had gotten a coupon in a mailer. They way overcharged me and everything broke after they had supposedly fixed everything. Then I called the Overhead Door people and they fixed the door and it had worked perfectly for seven or eight years. I had been so happy with them that I called them when the door itself became damaged and bowed. Big Jaegers came out exactly as scheduled and was very helpful in explaining our options and allowing us to make the choice that suited our budget. The work hasn't been completed yet since the door has just been ordered. I don't expect any problems with the installation. I think this company is very professional and knowledgeable.
Description of Work: Our garage door is damaged and no longer opens. At this point we have ordered a new door and are waiting for it to come in. They will replace the door and the hardware and the wood around the door.
