AAA Stan's Appliance Service

Was surprised with the response that I received from a third party and not Stan himself. I was told, after waiting for a week, they were not interested in repairing my stove? The damage involved squirrel wire damage which seemed to be a routine repair. Maybe this is something this company does not do, but the answer I received "he's does want to do that" kind of surprised me considering the positive reviews. A call from the repair person would have been professional helping me understand why my repair could not be addressed.

John and Kyle came out to do the repair on my Frigidaire washer and they provided excellent service. They arrived on time, were clean (foot booties), extremely polite, and explained everything they were doing. After the initial diagnosis, they determined what the problem was (door latch assembly), and because they had the part in stock on the truck, they were able to come back after their next appointment to finish the job that night. While John did the repair, Kyle explained everything he was doing and also provided tips on use of the washer and basic maintenance. After the repair, my wife asked a question about our kitchen disposal and John took the time to look under the sink and give me tips what we should do. Just really excellent service and I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

The technician was a little late, but we still got him in. He installed the ice maker quickly without any problems. However, after he left, we noticed that the refrigerator had stopped working, so I immediately called them back, which was around 5 PM on a Friday. The technician was contacted, and he asked if he could stop by that evening (Friday night) to look at it. He was there within minutes of the phone call. He then repaired the problem with the refrigerator, and did so free of charge, on a Friday night! They followed up with phone calls the next day (Saturday) and Monday to make sure it was still running. You can't beat service like that, these people are top notch all the way!! Thanks!!

The techs were punctual and polite. They clearly explained their assessment and how they completed the repair. Job well done.

They were great... not only did they fix the fridge and ice maker, but they also took some extra time to show me a bit about the new washing machine and dryer we just purchased, even though that's not what they were here for. I really appreciated the extra effort, and would absolutely hire them again!

These guys were excellent!!! Most helpful. Gave me excellent guidance and directions. They set the standard for the industry.

They have evening hours which is great. They were on time even though their van had broken down that day and they were driving a rental. They examined my machine and had the part needed to replace it. They spent a lot of time talking to me and my husband about how to get the most out of our appliances and save money on detergent, etc. They even found a free repair that was under warranty that I was not aware of and will return later to fix it at no charge. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Great provider, great service!

was very pleased overall, was surprised at the cost of the repair, I did get a 5% senior discount. But was less costly than buying a new stove.

The men (Kyle and John) arrived within the allotted time. They explained what was wrong with the machine, explained the pros and cons of replacing the part, and then fixed it. All done very quickly. Both were pleasant and knowledgable.

John and Kyle were professional, punctual, knowledgeable and efficient. They diagnosed the problem quickly and provided me with a fair estimate. Also provided me with maintenance tips and recommendations for new appliances. It's great to find a quality family business that you can trust 100%.

Last week we noticed leaks coming through out 1st floor ceiling due to our washing machine on the 2nd floor. Some quick investigation was had and we soon discovered lots of water coming from underneath our washer and flooding over the washer pan and down into our 1st floor ceiling. We cleaned up the mess and removed the front panel of the washer to try and self diagnose what was going on. After a few more tries with different cycles and laundry loads, we finally did some research on Angie's List for a well-reviewed servicer and then called AAA Stan's on Saturday morning and left a vmail that we'd like a service call. We didn't have a clue what was going on, other than knowing there was overfilling / flooding of some kind. We got a return call on Monday while Hubby while was at work. They were able to come out Tuesday night, great news to our ears. My husband relayed some information about the model of washer we had and the issues we noticed. We were to see the repairmen Tuesday between 6-8pm. Tuesday night 2 guys showed up at exactly 6pm, I think it was. They couldn't have been any nicer. I would come to find out later they are a father & son team - John & Kyle. They put some booties on their feet and quickly got to the issue and diagnosed our machine within 5 mins, not even. All in all, they were at our house for not even an hour. The problem at hand was a huge build-up of debris that was clogging air pressue in one of the tubes. Luckily, we didn't need to replace any parts, yay! Not only were John & Kyle EXACTLY on time, not only did they QUICKLY find the problem, but they were beyond friendly and very professional - and actually really helpful as they answered our questions about routine maintenance and repair for our washer and dryer. As somewhat new home owners (our house is not even 3 years old - and that washer is what the builder gave us, hmph), we had ideas in our mind of things we should look out for in years to come, but it was good to get even MORE solid information from the men who would know best - the guys who work on the machines every day. I would recommend AAA to anyone. I liked that they were a family business, liked that the father & son came out together (you don't see that too often!), and liked that we never once felt pressured to buy any expensive parts or pay some ridiculous fee for their service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

refrigerator should be replacedThey disassembled the back of the refrigerator, found the likely problem, discovered that they did not have the needed part in their truck, went back to their home office, brought it back and installed it. Before they left the first time, they gave me a written estimate of what my cost would be if the fix worked and what it would be if the fix did not work. Replacing the capacitor solved the problem of my refrigerator not working. They told me beforehand that if that did not work, the refrigerator should be replaced, that it was not worth the investment of a new compressor. Fortunately this was not necessary.

My LG Tromm washer started making terrible noises and the drum would no longer spin. I called on a Saturday and received a call back on Sunday night to schedule my appt. John and Kyle arrived within the scheduled maintenance window. They were very professional and courteous. They diagnosed my washer's problem in minutes, had parts ready to go, and were done in short order. They also explained the problem and provided me with lots of tips on how to use my washer (and my LG dryer, too). They were obviously very knowledgeable and eager to share what they knew. I would highly recommend this company again.....and as much as I don't wish any of my appliances ill will, if something breaks, I know where I'm going first! Thanks, John and Kyle!

I called on July 9th, and emailed on July 15th and never heard from anyone.

The reps who visited my home were very professional. I believe it was Stan, the owner (can't remember for sure) and his son, who is learning the business. They did a diagnostic on the dishwasher, worked up a repair price, and then left it up to me whether to repair or replace. There was no high-pressure sales pitch. Because the cost was high for repair, they also recommended a local appliance dealer rather than a big-box store, which I also appreciated. I will definitely call them again when I need an appliance repaired.

Called AAA Stan's A/C & Appliance. Left a message on their answering machine and their office got back to me immediately. Discussed my problem and scheduled an appointment for service later in the week. To my surprise, the service provider (John and his partner that I cannot remember his name) were able to come out to my house the same day that I called. The problem was diagnosed and they ordered the part needed and scheduled another appointment for installing the part. John was on time, very professional, patient, took the time to explain the problem, and answered all questions that I had. While he was in my home, I had John look into an issue I have been having with my dryer. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, and explain why the problem had occurred, and provided a price for repair. He didn't recommend fixing it, but in the event I did want to repair it, he gave me a price. In any event, since the dryer is working, I decided not to repair as it would be too costly and I can just continue to use it as-is. John went above and beyond what I would have expected, and I would most definitely use his services again. Note: AAA Stan's used slip covers for their shoes prior to coming into my house, which I appreciated very much.

We were looking for a repair a broker door mechanism on our dishwasher. We first called and had to leave a message. After 2 days without a response we called and left another message. They called was returned the next day. They asked about the problem and we gave them the make and model number. They then said they wold call back with an estimate. They have never called back. I then decided to try to fix it myself. Turns out the problem was a broken spring and link. I have ordered the part from Amazon for about $10.00 and will fix it myself. I don't think I would ever call them again.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THE GENTLEMEN WHERE VERY INFORMATIVE. MY MANUAL SAID THE MOTOR HAD OVER LOADED. THEY TOLD ME I WAS USING TOO MUCH DETERGENT AND NOT TO GO BY WHAT WAS ON THE DETERGENT. HE EVEN WROTE OUT WHAT AMOUNT TO USE DEPENDING ON WHAT TYPE DETERGENT I USED. THEY ALSO SWITCHED MY WASHER AND DRYER AROUND SO THAT UNLOADING THE WASHER & LOADING INTO THE DRY WAS EASIER. PLUS ANSWERED QUESTIONS I HAD ON THE OTHER APPLIANCES. NON

Over all the service experience was good. Two gentleman ( a @ 75 year old father and his @ 50 year old son) visited first time diagnosed the problem. They said they would have to order the part. They got back in touch with me once the part arrived. They visited second time to fix it. They are a good handy man shop and do a good job. You could not expect them to have right spare parts for the equipment, so unfortunately it results in two visits and longer time to have issue fixed.

They were fine. They came, diagnosed the problem and had to come back the next day. They had to order a part. They came back when the freezer was defrosted and fixed it. It has been working fine since then. They were professional. I would use them again if needed.

Very polite apond arriving. Answering service was right on track for my needs. He was a very knowledgeable service person. Completed the job inexpected time. Cost was good. Will use him again if the need arises.
