Steve returned my call within 24 hrs and came by to give me an appraisal of the job within 48 hrs. Steve Friend, the owner of I Wash, completed all of the work himself. Fortunately, he had an opening in his schedule and was able to do the job within 10 days. Steve was punctual, very professional, and impeccably honest. He was very clear about how long the work would take and the cost. He explained process and the solutions used in detail (basically soap and hot water) in response to my concerns about environmental impact. He did a terrific job. This home is adjacent to wetland, marshland, and Rehoboth Bay. Moisture and partial shade from wooded property means green stuff on the siding, gutters, trim, decks, sidewalks, and driveways. Houses (or certain exposures of houses) in this area are power-washed on a regular basis. While I have power-washed previous homes myself, this house is a very tall two stories with some sections of deeply pitched roof. And I was not particularly interested in being pitched off the roof.
