SEASONAL SOLUTIONS INC

I had Seasonal Solutions come in fall of 2015 to close my hot tub for the winter. In 14 years use, I have never had anti-freeze left inside the hot tub to winter over. It was in the foot well and on the seats. They were supposed to call before coming so I would know what day to expect them. The guy just showed up one day. I had Seasonal Solutions come in spring of 2016 to open up the hot tub. When we opened the cover, the entire inside of the tub was covered with black mold. That has never happened before. When they opened up the side to get to the workings of the tub, there were my two filters. They had been left there all winter, outside the tub, not in their usual places, and they were entirely covered in black mold. We have tried to recover them, but we could not get rid of the black mold. I had found the bromine tablets thrown out on my side yard. There was no need to throw them out. I asked Steve, the person who seems to run this operation, if he thought he could give me a couple of new filters and he said "Yes." We did have a burned out heating element which they fixed without incident. The lights on the hot tub do not work. Steve said he would be back the next day to see if he could find the problem. He has not returned. In spite of the lights not working and without my replacement filters, we decided to pay them today. Shortly thereafter the Lewes store manager phoned to tell me my filters were in and they were at the Millville store. I said "Great!" I'll run by and pick them up. He told me it would cost me $80. When I told him what Steve said, he played the innocent card. I had been warned by others not to use this outfit. It's gotten very hard to find outfits that will service hot tubs. He was my only option at the time. After arguing with Tom, the manager, numerous times about what was said that they would do and how it was not done, I told him I was done. I can get my replacement filters online for $15.00 each. The hot tub had to be filled and then refilled twice, as they did not add any chemicals when opening it up, even though they charged $20 for "chemicals.". I could not see the bottom of the tub.
