Thompson Home Services LLC of Millsboro Del is bad news. We hired the guy to install a couple exterior doors, amongst other household repairs he never started, and the job turned out to be a disaster. What was scary was Mr. Thompson... Using my old door knobsMr. Thompson did not screw in the knobs (or install the new ones I bought) and they were just dangling in the holes with no screws. The door did not shut. There were rags stuffed in the holes where the dead bolts go. My wife was in a house with 2 doors which did not shut or lock and he never let her know. We can see light from the outside through one of the doors. He put no insulation in those gaps around the door. And the other door you must put all your weight behind it (and I weigh 225 to 230 pounds) to close, then use the dead bolt to keep it closed. We can not even use that door now and just dead bolt it shut. He used rotted wood or re-used the rotted wood from the existing door. We hired him to replace an old door not re-use the problems we hired him to fix. He didn't finish the trim work. There are gaps between the trim and the wall. There are nail holes never filled and repairs. A small piece of trim broke when he was trying to save it, so he wouldn't have to buy new trim, and never repaired or replaced the broken trim. The doors were not painted and he never came back to paint. He didn't even finish putting the door together and left that for me He left a gap between the door and the ceramic floor tile work we have in our kitchen floor. He said it was our responsibility to pay for a tile setter to repair the gap he made. He never installed or re-installed the old 1/4" round trim to hide the door opening at the bottom. He said he was going to return to do it right and never did. Never finished the work. Be careful with this guy. You will be playing Russian Roulette with your money and house and more important...YOUR SAFETY!!!

Shawn Thompson of Thompson Home Services LLC in Millsboro, De 19966 took a $10,000.00 deposit from us for a signed contract of work totalling $34,000.00 for a 12' x 18' addition with an 8'x12' porch, 4'x5' outdoor shower, convert our approx 18'x 26' garage to a recreaction room & replace existing wood porch to vinyl railing on our front porch at our vacation home in Lewes, De 19958. Mr. Thompson did absolutely no work or bought any materials and is now trying to walk away with our $10,000.00 deposit. He will not return our money as of today 6/20/12. He is a crook so be carful.
