Description of Work: Replaced 2 old AC compressor/air handler units with more efficient system, air purifier and digital wifi thermostats. Heat pump works in conjunction with propane baseboard heat resulting in less cost in winter. | |Installation went well, had to coordinate with several other contractors, all was installed in a timely manner.

Description of Work: First Class HVAC provided a quote to encapsulate our crawlspace. Our space is about 1500 sq ft. This quote was for the vapor barrier, spray foam on the crawlspace walls and a Santa Fe dehumidifier. They did not address an insulating issue that we had with another room that had been added on. This quote was the highest that I had received for the least amount of work that we wanted completed. I would still recommend First Class for jobs but check around for quotes on crawlspace encapsulation.

Description of Work: I have a yearly maintenance contract with First Class Hearting and AC. They performed my Spring checkup on my heat pump. This company offered a very good contract for less money then other companies and have been on time and performed services as promised.

Description of Work: First Class replaced my outdated heat pump and furnace. The men were pleasant to work with, however, did very unprofessional work. They used duct tape to secure the new ductwork, not screws! During the winter one of the ducts became disconnected, and fell; consequently, my living space was not very warm, but my crawl space was toasty! Needless to say, my electric bill was enormous for three winter months!

Description of Work: At the advice of my propane supplier I made an appointment with First Class Heating & Air to have my gas logs serviced. The appointment time was 8:30 am. At 10:30 am I still had not seen anyone, so I called the company phone number and was told that I was the next person on the servicing schedule. The staff had an unexpected meeting at the time of my appointment, and that had backed them up. I should expect a call shortly before they would arrive at my house to give me a heads up. I had to go into my place of work so I left at 12 Noon. I had not seen nor heard from a repair person. My husband called First Class Heating & Air around 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm and was told that they had an emergency heating situation that took precedence over my appointment. My husband canceled the appointment altogether. My greatest complaint is that there was absolutely no consideration of my schedule, with even the common courtesy of a phone call to let us know of the delay in the morning nor the delay created by the emergency heat situation. Even the emergency heat situation seems questionable since this is October 11th and there is little to no need for heat.

Description of Work: They showed when scheduled and the technician was friendly, professinal, and honest. They were able to find a serious problem with our furnace that two others were not able to find. RJ was very helpful and so nice :)

Description of Work: I have been in my home for 3 years and had not had my AC system checked in that time. I knew the lower system was not working properly so I contacted First Class to start a contract with them. The gentleman who worked on the AC unit came on time, was very courteous, and very good about explaining everything he found and needed to work on. He replaced all my filters, checked the freon levels and cleaned the outside AC units. He was working the entire time he was here, and I found him to have a very pleasant demeanor.
