We bought the power washer from Baker's instead of Lowe's because we wanted to support a local business and because they had onsite repair. It didn't work properly from the beginning. After 3 hours of run time, it wouldn't start a second time. We had to take it back. The second time we used it approximately 6 to 8 hours of run time. The next time we wanted to use it, it ran for approximately 10 minutes and stopped. We couldn't get it started. We took it back to Baker's for repair. Several days later we received a call saying that we had not put oil in it which voided the warranty and ruined the engine. We always check our equipment for fluids before starting it, so we knew this was not true. We were told that we would have to buy a new engine which would be around $600.00. We didn't agree to have the repair done. When we went to get the washer, it was in pieces, We were given a box of parts and the housing. We took it to an independent repairman. He has told us that we are missing parts and that he can find no signs of the damage that Baker's claimed. We have spoken to Mr Ricker. He is curt and not open to discussion. We sent him a letter requesting the missing pieces ~ the pump, pump key, fly wheel, fly wheel key, and the battery. We have sent him a letter requesting the return of the parts. All we got was a very short curt letter. This has been a very unpleasant experience. Buyer beware.
Description of Work: We bought a Husqvarna power washer from Baker's. We paid $800.00 for the washer. We took there twice for service. We found out on the second visit that they hadn't done the job properly the first time. That the power washer was ruined by them causing the warranty to be voided.
