The Gutter Guys

We couldn't be more disappointed in Gutter Guys-Milford! RIPOFF, UNPROFESSIONAL, MESSY, LYING, and JUST SHOWS UP RANDOMLY. We decided to do our back gutters, but we'll take our business elsewhere! The gutters they did for us are already faulty and are allowing water to run behind them, damaging our soffit. The workers left nails and brackets laying all over our yard. Thankfully we were able to clean up after them before my dog stepped on a nail. But, it gets worse... They started off kind and the estimator even offered a suggestion to run downspouts along the side of the house so we didn't have to do as much digging for underground flexible pipe. It was my fault for not having him specify that on the quote; I mistook kindness for trustworthiness. So, when the guys show up to do the work (with only one day's notice), they only ran the downspouts straight down. I had to call to complain and they said the estimator would call me back to discuss (well, he didn't). Then a few days later, workers show up at our house UNANNOUNCED to fix the downspouts. They didn't mention anything about an extra cost or have me sign anything. Two days later, the estimator shows up at my door UNANNOUNCED claiming that he never said anything about the downspout along the side of the house (BLATANT LIE TO MY FACE) and that it is an additional cost. He mentioned that they should've had me sign a change request for the extra cost when they were here... well, they didn't. and they never mentioned charging me extra! Only use Gutter Guys if you want faulty gutters from liars & scammers. What a scam of $1000. "Satisfaction guaranteed..."

The team replaced all gutters and downspouts quickly. They had to replace some fascia and so returned in two days with repainted fascia and were finished and cleaned up in a few hours. Very polite young men.

Office staff and installers were professional, arrived aspromised, worked effectively, ensured the original gutters that remained werecleaned and flowed, and that the yard was left as they found it. The installersadded a piece of flashing in a location of concern and they closed the gatewhich is very much appreciated. It was thought the fit of the installedcomponents would be similar to the original gutter/downspout installation, butthis was not initially achieved. The company was very responsive in addressing my concerns, quickly scheduling a return visit to make the desired corrections.

Gutter Guys use the very best materials. They did an excellent job.! They are very professional, timely and responsive.

Every aspect was great from Jen in the office to the estimate guy (very knowledgeable) to the two guys who installed the gutter and snow blockers on roof. The guy who gave the estimate told me up front that the snow blockers were $9+, and I needed a lot of them. He also gave me many options with pricing for each option. The installers were prompt, efficient, personable, and thorough. I am very satisfied with the work they did! I had had a cheaper gutter put in several years ago for $150 for just the gutter and downspout. The gutter, I found out, was installed going the wrong way for the slant of my roof, the material was flimsy, and the snow destroyed the gutter last year. The new gutter is much better, stronger, correctly installed, and attractive.

The administrative side of the company was very professional. They returned my initial call and set up a time for an estimate within a few days. Once scheduled, the installation crew installed gutters and gutter guards quickly and professionally. The cost was 40% less than another estimate that I received. They adjusted the downspout to accommodate a rain barrel that I wanted to use. Very professional operation and I highly recommend them.

All work was done very professionally, from the first contact with Joseph who reviewed our old gutter system, made suggestions to correct our problems, and gave us a good estimate. The replacement of the 5 inch gutters with 6 inch gutters, the placement of the downspouts to redirect water away from the house and the installation of the gutter guard on all gutters was done professionally and quickly. Old material was cleaned up when the job was completed. Brandon & Matt were a credit to Gutter Guys, both did excellent work and answered any questions we had.

John gave me a great estimate on the spot. Very friendly and knowledgeable.explained the different systems. I signed contract. Brandon and Luke showed up right on schedule. Up on second and 1st story level they removed old, clogged gutters and installed new seamless gutters with gutter guard. Both were very friendly and they did a fantastic job! I would recommend Gutter Guys to anyone needing gutter work.

They were clean and prompt. THey communicated very well.

The job was done in a short time. The crew was very professional and polite. They knew what they were doing and wasted no time in getting the job done. This was a great job at a reasonable price. We had checked with competitive companies but found the gutter guys to give the best value. I would recommend this company highly.

They did a great job. They came and did the estimate, giving me several options. They also explained the gutter guards. Once they offered me a payment plan, I was sold on it. They did the work quickly, efficiently, and they cleaned up their entire mess. I would highly recommend them. They were very professional from start to finish.

They tore off old gutters and the wood behind it that had rotted. Replaced everything with new. Super efficient. Very neat and tidy. When they finished you couldn't find any evidence that they had been there except for the new gutters. A very pleasant and informed crew and answered all our questions confidently. I have already recommended this company to other friends and family. A very professional company.

My overall experience was very good. They were very good and very professional. They always have necessary equipment. They are very fast. They came and did an assessment. They made an appointment to come and did the work in one day.

Estimator arrived on time and did a complete inspection of the exterior work needed. Gave a detailed estimate and offered options of services and products. Did not use any high pressure sales techniques and was happy to leave an estimate so we could get other quotes. Scheduled work for an estimated future date and called a couple of days before to notify us of their arrival. Arrived on time and did excellent work, cleaned up thoroughly. Received a call from office to check on our satisfaction. On site supervisor went over all work with us and encouraged us to call if we had any issues. Excellent experience.

Workers arrived promptly, about 8:15 am (I was told they would be there between 8 and 9). Minimal disruption and noise. Left the work area clean upon their departure. Joe was a pleasure to speak to during the estimate process, explaining all options. Highly recommended.

Our property is in DE and we live in PA. They gave us an approximate date for service and then phoned us to let us know when they would be coming to the property. They not only did a wonderful job but also took photos with their cell phone to show us what they did and how it looked, since we live in PA. They were very helpful, thoughtful and accommodating. We would certainly refer them to anyone who needs their service. They are first class professionals.

Well, we can't say enough about "The Gutter Guys". I called for a free estimate a couple of weeks ago. Joseph Acton came out and we went through everything we wanted done. Joe made some recommendations and suggestions, such as reusing our current downspouts which would save us money (we like this). There was no pressure and he didn't try selling us something we did not want. I told him up front I didn't want any gutter helmets - he was fine with that. He gave us a price that was fair and reasonable plus a 10% discount for mentioning we found them on Angies List! Today, 12/13/2013, Chris and Scott came out to our house, on time. Both guys were very nice, personable, and professional. We walked around the house and I showed them what I wanted. They were well prepared and informed as to what they had to do. They got right to work and let me tell you, we are happy with everything. They pulled off the old gutters that were filled with ice and crap (very heavy) and when they were done, the new ones look awesome! Like they said, they reused our existing downspouts because they were still good and looked fine. We also had an existing gutter that leaked a little on the end so Scott caulked that for us as well. Like I said, Joe, Chris and Scott both were all excellent to deal with. I couldn't have asked for more. Not only will I give a great recommendation on here, but will also recommend to friends and family as well.

I called for estimate $215.00 cheaper than Lowes. I signed the contract, waiting period, schedule was on time, very professional, very good job.

The gutter guys showed up when scheduled & did a great job.
