Everything was perfect.

Excellent and completed quickly

I contacted the provider on 01/29/16 to schedule work to be done which he agreed to begin in April. Since I did not hear from the provider, I called him again. At that time, the provider informed me that he was having problems that need to be handled. He again informed me that he would contact me. I still have not received a response from the provider. Because this contractor has been unresponsive, I could never recommend him to anyone.

He was very responsive to our requests, prompt and did an excellent job. Some materials were needed to complete the tasks and he took it upon himself to get everything ahead of time so that he could begin on time and complete everything in a single day. Some additional work still remains to be completed, but we anticipate that he will return promptly as promised. We would definitely recommend him to others for similar work.

Patsy Cicala has done several jobs for us so far. First replaced the mailbox and post. Then readjusted all the doors in our home and installed new knobs and locks. Performed repair on the top of a bulkhead. Repaired exterior door frame and caulked all doors and windows. Power washed and put sealant on our deck. He sets appointments and keeps them. Calls to keep you up to date on progress. Performs the work to an excellent standard and his prices are very fair. He knows all aspects of home repair and construction. We can't say enough good things about him and highly recommend his services.

First of all Patsy showed up, actually a day early to look at the project. This was amazing being I had been waiting a year plus for another person to do the job. He started right away on the job. Due to the salt air climate, I had bought lifetime finished brass hardware that matched the hardware for the front door. When Patsy started to work on the install, he discovered that the screen knob and the main door hardware would interfere with the closure of the doors. He suggested that I return the hardware and purchase another, which I did. In the meanwhile, he sent me a suggestion picture of a system that would work. I bought a similar one with the same lifetime guarantee as my original hardware that looked like his picture. We arranged for Patsy's return and he was even slightly early the day that was set. The lock that I purchased had to be mortised in the door. He and his other carpenter, Chris, did not blink an eye and installed the lock. The door was slightly thicker than the opening and again Patsy knew exactly how to make it fit, work and look exactly like it was made for that size. Both Patsy and Chris were meticulous throughout the entire installation and the final product is spectacular! I will not hesitate to use this company again! They are extremely professional, trust worthy and a pleasure! The bill was more than fair for the complexity of the job! It was not your typical screen door install! I wish I could upload a picture for everyone to see the fabulous job it turned out to be!

It went great. Patsy Cicala (business owner) responded the next day to my inquire. He called and scheduled a time to meet and survey the job. We agreed on a job scope definition. Patsy provided an estimate, we agreed on the price and he scheduled the work. He had 4 workers plus himself (he was very hands on) and they knocked out the job in a day. Best of all the work turned out exactly as I'd wanted. The whole time from initial call to job complete was less than a week. I'm definitely calling Patsy the next time I have a home improve job.

Having him back to do some tile work in our kitchen and some crown molding in our living area.( Have not yet spoken to him about that, but will very soon) He was prompt, showed up when he said he would. Would recommend in a heart beat. Best thing in this area, is communication. and Patsy has it down Pat!! He is a professional.

Patsy met us at the job site and was punctual to the minute. He measured and matched the siding of the house and made the messy area look neat and functional. Worked with us on a tight time schedule and greatly appreciated his willingness to fit us in. He worked quickly, was very professional and personable, and a total pleasure to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better job. Now we know someone we are happy to use again or can confidently recommend to others.

5 days of rain put the project behind schedule. But Patsy and Gary completed the project in 3 work days.

The work was excellent and he was able to resolve issues that came up. Highly recommend.

I just moved here 3 weeks ago. Me and my 2 dogs. Moved to Sandy Brae and there were a lot of "little" things to take care of. Patsy, installed a storm door, fixed my garage door from popping up, programmed another garage door remote, changed the fixture above my garage door as the one I inherited didn't work well. He changed a light bulb. Which you may think..can't you do that? This was above a steep staircase with small stairs and it felt dangerous to me so he did it. He also assembled a computer desk I bought. There is a few more things that I can't remember now. But what I like is that he took me to home depot and I paid for the materials at cost. He basically just charged me for labor. He was a lot of fun to deal with, seemed to know what he was doing, and I will use him again.

I was extremely happy with the quality of workmanship completed by Patsy and Chris in replacing the outer wall sections of my house, building my deck and also the special attention paid to detail in completing electrical additions and correcting other fallacies they discovered when they stripped out the fascia of my house. I especially appreciated the professionalism of Patsy and Chris and their kindness and willingness to be helpful in the corrective constructive measures they performed on my very humble abode. They do Excellent work and clean up behind themselves well. I had a good experience with Patsy at a time when I really needed it and Chris was very helpful, polite, creative, patient and professional during the process of figuring out how to install the door I wanted in the way I wanted it done. I am very grateful. I highly recommend Patsy and Chris for all of your construction needs. I plan to have them come back to complete a roof and correct a joist problem under my house just as soon as I can save the money.Great job!

The job went great! The work was done within days and they work fast. The job is perfect! They cleaned up and answered all of our questions.

It went perfectly. To replace the rotted 6 X 12 laminated beams, they used (4) 2 X 12s of treated lumber sandwiched together, or sistered. (The original contractor, who built our house only 6 years ago, used untreated paralams for an exterior application. Unthinkable, right?) At one point, one of the pilings needed to be pulled to the side a few inches to make room to get all four boards into place. After all four boards were nestled in place, they were bolted together. The 6 X 6 beam was installed as the 45 degree angle that was attached to the piling, about 3 to 4 feet below the level of the sand/soil and rose to intersect the horizontal sandwich of the four 2 x 12s bolted together. Rather than merely bolting these to one another and using metal plates to add strength, they notched both the piling and the underside of the horizontal beam to give the extra level of security. This notch also helps to disperse and carry the weight of the deck. Our house may fall down, but this deck will stand up to anything - even the harsh environment and the nor'eaters we get at the Delaware Bay shore. The work area was left completely neat. These men worked very hard for three and a half days to complete the job. We are so very pleased with the work and the work ethic. We already have a list of other projects for them, as soon as they have time for us.

Could not have gone better. Patsy Cicala was prompt, professional and pleasant to work with. My family and I will certainly be calling him again.

Mr. Cicala was extremely responsive, calling me back on the Saturday that I first called him. I sent him pictures of the project and he scheduled the work within 1 week. He arrived on time as scheduled, and did an outstanding job repairing the previous job and reframing the mirrors. The additional wallboard work as done very well. We are hiring him for further work in the house.

All went very well - Mr. Cicala and Asst., both very efficient, courteous, prompt...and I might add kind. Mr. Cicala removed grid from upper window, washed window, replaced grid. beyond the call I'd say. My call was returned promptly, the time promised ..and they were at the door! This window job requires knowledge--and that he and his asst. have. Others have looked at the job, so know this is true. I thank you for this name, and yes, will call and rely on Something Constructive for other help.

Patsy is wonderful! He not only finished the projecct early, he helped deliver and place them. The planters are BEAUTIFUL, sturdy, & exactly what I was wanting! I would recommend him without hesitation!

The bookcases look wonderful. Mr. C. added trim to make it look truly built-in, with great results. He bought the millwork, and used his carpentry skills to make them. In addition, he painted them to our specification ( two colors).

Always on time, Professional. Reasonably Price. Would use over and over again. Have used Patsy for other repairs and I have always had positive feedback from my clients.

The provider arrived on time as promised and completed all work within a few hours. The price charged was very reasonable. He was very pleasant and courteous.
