Excellent. I got an appointment for an inspection 2 days after I called. Pat came out, checked out the breakfast area then went up on the roof.(2 story room with a very steep roof) He carefully inspected the area where the leak may have occurred. He shared that there had been previous work done on it. After a thorough inspection, he concluded that a minor fix done by a friend probably solved the problem and that I should watch for leaks during the next 2 days when 3" of rain was predicted. I did as he recommended and found no evidence of leaking. He told me to call him to let him know how I fared during the storm-leak or no leak. If there was a leak he would come back immediately and rectify the situation. Apparently the minor fix took care of the problem. Then the Christmas present--No Charge for 2 hours of his labor. Wonderful company to work with!

John came the same day I called and repaired my roof. The repair seems to be successful, but John said if I continue to have a problem, he will come back for no charge.

Highly recommend! Pat Martin responded quickly to give me an estimate which was several thousand less than 2 others. He was professional but also knowledgeable & kind. I am disabled & felt vulnerable by others but Pat Went over & above to help me. Job was done within a week of my call due to urgency. Workmen were amazing. Never stopped, cleaned up great, checked by supervisor for completeness & quality of work done. I am beyond pleased & refer everyone to them. My new roof is beautiful. Pat also rechecked everything. I am so pleased & relieved to have this completed! Special thanks to Pat & Mr. Lewandowsi. I am no. longer afraid when it rains! Should be a triple A rating for them. I got three estimates for the roof replacement. Bayside was the most expensive but had the best materials and warranty. I work in the trades and know first hand what a difference good materials and warranties provide. My original roof was installed improperly and not nailed correctly so the shingles delaminated and the roof needed to be replaced 10 years before it should have been. So having it done properly was very important to me. When the crew starting removing the roof they told me it was one of the worst installation they had ever seen. The crew worked hard for two days, did a good job of cleanup. There was only one slight issue, the pitch of my roof is 12/12 (45 degrees) and this was not told to the crew so they did not have enough boards to attach to the roof to give them an edge to stand on. The crew leader saw that I had some boards and asked if they could use them, sure no problem. Upon clean up the helpers loaded up the boards and took them away. After the job the supervisor came by to inspect the work (liked that very much) and he asked if there were any problems, told him everything went great but that they took my boards and would like them back. He said no problem and that he would take care of it. The next morning I had brand new replacement boards sitting on my porch. All I wanted was my old boards, they went above and beyond. They set up to have the manufacture inspector come out about three months after the roof was done. I have all of my warranty certificates and I will not have to worry the rest of my time living in this house.

It rained!! but small leaks were reimbursed so we could hire a painter

good, three people who have worked together and had an easy time of it| there was no wasted time or motion. they were here to work and they worked and left; Nothing more to say !

I got 3 estimates for this work - including the one from Bayside. Decided to use this firm because they are local and the reviews were good. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with the work that was done and the professionalism of the workers! They had a team of men who arrived at the scheduled time, went right to work and had the job finished by mid-afternoon. Several workers took turns walking the perimeter of the house looking for stray pieces of roof trash and when they left, the place was very clean. I had one concern though and that was quickly resolved. In order to run the roofing material up the side of the house to prevent potential leaks, they removed 2 courses of the clapboard and that was still missing when the crew left. I called the office and was assured that they would return 2 days later to replace the missing pieces but there were thunderstorms predicted for the intervening day and I was concerned that water would get into the house in the open areas. Bayside sent a man out the next day to temporarily cover the openings. He finished just as the thunder rolled in and we stayed completely dry though the storms. The next day the crew returned and installed the replacement clapboard PAINTED TO MATCH THE COLOR OF THE HOUSE!! They had taken a old board to the paint store to have the paint matched. I can't tell you how impressed I was and still am at their follow-through. One of the other estimates I got - which was TWICE the cost that Bayside charged - stated that I would need to pay by the piece for any clapboard that needed to be replaced and that painting them would be my responsibility. Bayside included everything for the quoted price. Thorough professionals from start to finish, thank you!

Fantastic. Reached out to me on the Sunday I requested a quote. Showed up next day with the materials needed and took care of the intended repairs along with a few others he noticed. Was quick efficient and extremely helpful.

John Graham showed up with a crew and within a hour had the siding off and found the leak. Replace the siding and shutter. You cannot even tell they where there. Very nice and professional. Would recommend to anyone who needs a quality roofer.

He came out a couple of weeks after the purchase. He was cooperative and I would recommend him. I would use him again if I couldn't find someone closer. He's willing to come down to this area.

I thought he was very friendly, he was a nice guy, he totally understood that I got a second opinion and he was fine with it. I found this guy to be very honest and I was happy with him. He came right out and there wasn't any problem of him not showing up. Everything was up above board.

He was not willing to service our area.

Initially, they called me to set up the work and then I didn't hear anything. So I called them, they called back and said they could not do work because they were not getting paid for it.

I was in contact with John on a Friday, he came to my house on Monday and gave me an estimate. They did the work that week and I am completely satisfied with service, follow through and professionalism of Bayside Roofling

He was not familiar with how your list is supposed to work. He didn't know that I had suggested dates and called to come the following morning before going to his "real" job. He asked me for payment. He had no idea I had already paid by credit card. He said if I hadn't paid by card, it would have been cheaper. Apparently, his main objective was to sell me a new roof for $10,000. He finally came down to $9000 for cash. He was only here about 10 min. He did not check for leaks in the interior. He was on his cell phone the whole time I was trying to talk with him. I don't think he did anything except nail down a loose shingle. IHe also showed me that the shingles would blow off in the next storm. They didn't. I felt that the whole thing was a sham to push a new roof. I did get a loose shingle nailed down.

John Graham came highly recommended to us. I was buying a house with a bad roof, and the realtors Burns and Ellis brought in John Graham to have a look. John spent a long time checking out the roof and the attic before giving us an estimate and a detailed description of what needed to be done. The roof was leaking; the skylight in the bathroom was leaking; the rafters and the sheathing in the attic were really damp. I don't know anything about roofs, but even a novice could see the damage on both the roof and inside the attic. When John gave us the price, I was a bit shocked. Two other roofers gave estimates: one was $5,000 lower, but he wasn't going to do half the things that John said he would do and that I knew needed to be done; the other roofer was $8,000 more for less work than John was going to do. I know three other people who have had roofs replaced by Bayside roofing. Everybody says John is the man if you want it done right. Our house closing was on a Friday, and John and his crew were there early Monday morning. Everyday John and his crew worked really hard, and they had the roof on and the yard totally cleaned up in three and a half days. The roof looks great, and I am fully confident that it will last for 30 years. Every step of the way, John Graham explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. I believe that John is the best roofer that Delaware has to offer. I recommend him without reservations.

Decide to wait to have roof replaced.

Contacted me 2 days after contacting through Angie's list and let me know he was in the area, would like to find out if he could stop by to inspect and give an estimate. I was leaving for work prior to his availability, but as it's exterior, I gave directions as to where the damage was exactly on the roof. I received a call back an hour or two later with an estimate for the work over the phone and he offered to do the repairs right then and there. I gave the go-ahead and when I got home, it looked like the damage never happened. I couldn't be happier with the work. I received an invoice a few days later and mailed in the check (does not do credit cards/debit cards). I'll definitely be using Bayside Roofing again if I need future repairs or when it's time to replace my roof.

Roofers repaired all deficencies and cleaned up all of the trash. Showed me the before and after pictures. Very courteous and they were done in just a few hours.

Easy, prompt, responded also after work was done, will use again

I notice some wet spots on my ceiling in my finished basment and in stairwell to basement. Called Bayside to look at it and another Co. the other co. came same day i called went up in attic said it was my roof vent and gave me a price. So i asked about the whole roof the guy never went on the roof to inspect just measured from the ground and gave me price.Bayside Roofing (john) called acouple of days later I was out of town so he dealt with my wife, Came out and did afull inspection inside and out took pictures while on the roof and showed them to the wife with a explanation as to what she looking at.He said we could do the repairs for 800.00 but our roof was in bad shape the house being 30 plus yrs old i kind of figured. so he said 5000.00 to do the roof which more than the other guy but the other guy did not look at the roof.so we went with Bayside I was not home he stayed in contact with me. We are very pleased with the outcome and will not hasitate to call them for any repairs that might happen. this is agood roofer Bayside(john)

We experienced a leak and drywall damage following a hurricane, and knew there was a bad skylight that had been causing the problem. Due to the age of the roof we decided to replace everything. I found Bayside Roofing on Angie's list and asked around. Turns out he has done work in our neighborhood and for a family member. John, from Bayside, gave us the first of three estimates and was the lowest by far. once we decided to go with Bayside, John ordered the skylight and as soon as it came in we were scheduled for the new roof. In one day, the crew removed the original roof and installed the new roof shingles, skylight, and one piece of rotten plywood. The only reason for a B rating in quality is the damage to two of our window screens (which Bayside repaired at no additional cost) and the unfinished look on the inside of the skylight recess. Since it was a smaller replacement skylight than the original, the frame is visible without some needed trim which was not included in the job estimate. I think that should have been addressed and budgeted into the job. I'll have to take care of that in my own time. Overall it was a great experience and we are very happy with the work. Would definitely recommend John and Bayside Roofing.

It was a small job, they gave us what we considered was a fair price and fixed it then and there. Two days later was hurricane Irene and that was the best test of their repair! It stood up without fail to Hurricane Irene. We would use them again and recommend them to all family and friends.
