My masonry chimney had deteriorated and major work was required on loose heavy stones near the crown. Pleasanton Chimney Inc did the necessary demolition and restoration. In very hot weather, scaffolding and a Hi-Lift were needed for the approximately 40 ft height. They were careful to protect my roof and nearby HVAC and cleaned up each day. All employees were respectful, hardworking and did not take liberties. The restoration was done competently with the new stone and mortar well matched to the existing structure. The completed job, with a copper latticed multi-flue cap has enhanced the appearance of my home. In view of the scaffolding, equipment rental materials and labor involved the cost was realistic.

I have nothing but positives to say about Zach and his team. First, it's clear that he places an emphasis on educating the consumer about the services he provides and the techniques he uses. Second, he clearly takes an old-school approach to his craft - a true artisan. Third, I very much appreciated the attention to detail on how he conducts his business: for example - he made a point to make sure the gates were secure when he was finished for the day so the dog wouldn't get out later; he kept in constant communication regarding the schedule. He gave the courtesy of calling before he came to make sure we wouldn't be stuck in the driveway. Those are things that almost no contractor takes the time to do, and it makes all the difference in the world. It's how I like to conduct my business and really appreciate it when I'm making an investment in my home. I unreservedly recommend Pleasanton. Simply put, in 11 years of home ownership, this was at the top of experiences I've had with a contractor.

t Zack came out to give me an estimate on pointing my chimney because the mortar was cracking. He was very professional and was 600 dollars less than his competition. I decided to use him and he came two Wednesdays later. Although I wasn't home, he did a very good job. The chimney looks brand new. He also put a water repellant on the chimney.

They were very nice, explained everything to us, and told us exactly what they were doing.
