Foraker Construction

He started on time and completed the job by the date promised. Mr. Foraker gave us some architectural suggestions which improved the overall design. While on site, he also did some additional minor improvements at little to no charge. His workmanship is excellent, as is the workmanship of his sub-contractors. His pride in his workmanship was as if he were finishing his own basement. He and his crew were a delight to work with and we highly recommend his company.

We had a vision of changing our master bath from an ugly room with a huge unused bathtub and no storage to a modern room with a smaller tub, a modern tiled shower and a cabinet for storage. Josh figured out how to do this for us. He has a talent for visualizing the result, making changes as he works as necessary. He is a very talented person. Josh can look at something and know immediately whether it will work and how to do it. Normally I hate having men working in the house, but Josh and his assistant Phil were fun to have around. When they were finished we (and the dog) missed them. We encountered a couple problems with vendors during the process, and Josh was immediately on his phone trying to resolve the problems. Josh shared many ideas with us. Some we liked and some we didn't, and he didn't take it personally when we didn't like an idea that he proposed. The renovation of the bathroom included: new bathtub, new tiled shower, new cabinets installed, new vanity installed, plumbing relocated, light fixtures installed, floor tiled, toilet installed, and room painted. We would definitely hire him again. We have confidence in his ability to do pretty much anything.

Working with Foraker Construction was a terrific experience. Josh Foraker was helpful in the planning stage and provided us with useful suggestions. The quality of work and attention to detail are extraordinary. Josh truly cares about doing work of high quality and it shows in every respect. He's also very flexible and easy to work with; we made a number of small design changes as the work proceeded and Josh readily accommodated them. Thorough clean-up was done at the end of each day, so our home was habitable throughout the project. All three bathrooms look great, as does our new floor in the laundry room (and the laundry room plumbing works perfectly now, which is a big improvement). We are 100%+ satisfied with the work that was done and we enthusiastically recommend Foraker Construction.

Josh struck us with his candor and honesty from the beginning. He was more than willing to share his thoughts and ideas... but most importantly, he listened to what WE wanted and worked with those ideas to make them better. He didn't react negatively to our change requests, and worked with us through design to installation. Our original ideas (however good they sounded) were improved upon, and some of our sillier ideas were talked through, not just dismissed. Josh took the time to explain why some of our ideas wouldn't work in terms my wife and I could understand. Then took our ideas that would work, and expanded on them to make them even better. He and his crew were mostly on time. And if they weren't, we got a call the day BEFORE with an explanation. Not that one was needed, as we understand weather issues (the work was started after Thanksgiving and completed the following January). A call or discussion on sight was also provided when the crew was going to come unscheduled (weekend work for example) the day before.... there were no "Surprise, we're here!! days. Was a little more expensive then our other quotes, but SOOOOOOO worth it. We went over budget and didn't get everything finished, but when we save up, we want him back to finish up. WORTH THE WAIT PEOPLE!!!

His work is excellent, no problems at all. Very professional.

The experience was wonderful. They did exactly what they told me in the estimate. The work was done on time and with no issues. The craftsmanship was amazing. They were very professional and friendly. They took the time each day to partition off the work area from the master bedroom, keeping it clean from dust and dirt. They cleaned up at the end of each day. I plan to use them again for my other bathroom. I can't say enough about the great job they did.
