Description of Work: Purchased solid hardwood and installation from the provider. I had a very pleasant experience with the salesperson, however, the installation was a nightmare. Day 1 of installation involved the installer talking on his cell phone until 10 am, and he did not want to install hardwood immediately in front of door due to moisture on subfloor. I am unsure as to why the provider would employ an installer who cannot replace subfloor? He left on day 1 at 3 pm. On day 2, he told me that he would be unable to finish and could not work on it for several weeks. I was extremely upset because he really did not work hard to complete it on time - and I paid top dollar for this installation. Basically, they refused to warranty any of the work b/c of the moisture, and I now have the ends of planks splintering - but not anywhere near the moisture. This is occurring in the last room he did - likely b/c he had to come back on a weekend and finish the job. So, it was likely rushed. I will not purchase flooring or services from this provider again.
