We agreed once we had the garage cleared of obstructions and the ground thawed, he would return to complete the job per the contract. I called once the garage was cleared (in about 3 weeks), and left several messages but never received a return phone call. Finally, in February he answered and explained he had been "sick" and that he would check his schedule and get back to me. Again, no answer. I attempted again at the beginning of March to contact him and again, no answer or responses to my many messages. Mid-March he again answered the phone and said he would come between 12 and 1 on Tuesday, March 24. He never showed up or called. I called him and we again set up a date and time of Monday, March 30 between 2 and 4 and again, no show or a phone call. After sevreral forceful messages from my husband, he finally called on April 1 and said he would be here April 2 at 1:30. That remains to be seen as yet. He was referred by our realtor when we bought the house in January 2015, and we have contacted her and given her this information so she can avoid referring him to others. In addition, in checking online we have discovered some very disburbing information about him which only leads us to conclude he is not a man of character or one that should be trusted in your home. He has changed the name of his company several times and has been sued. So don't used 1st State Pest & Home Services in Middletown, DE either....same guy.
