+ -1 moreJ.R. Is the nicest person! He fixed everything safely - both his and my safety. Everything is working fine now. The heating element went on the hot tub. He showed me the old one and explained why/how it broke. He cleans up everything and puts it all back where he found it. Exceptional! His estimates match the actual costs very closely! And now I know that when something is wrong with the hot tub, the electrical breaker will pop, which answers my question of who to call first! ? I call J.R.
Description of Work: The breaker for the tub wouldn't stay on. So I called j.R. Dickerson, owner, on a Saturday right after Christmas to ask him if I should call him or the electrician first. He came over after about an hour and began working. He explains everything so clearly. He quickly diagnosed the problem and went straight to work. He is very knowledgeable.

+ -1 moreJR Dickerson is amazing. We just moved here and I wanted the hot tub fixed first - hey - moving all those boxes is hard work. He came the day I called him and took it apart. JR explained exactly why he did things, he explained how he was going to fix the motor and cleaned up the hot tub. The tub had sat idle for several years. He also explained how my cover was broken...do NOT sit on hot tub covers. We did not break it but JR made sure we got a new one and explained why we had to replace it...seems once the cover is broken, it absorbs water and gets really heavy to lift so you can get into the hot tub. So, not wanting to risk my husband getting a hernia...we got a new cover - with locks! Then there was education day...how to take care of the hot tub so that we don't need JR. He took a lot of time to explain testing the water, using the chemicals and answering lots of questions. He is thorough, honest and very likable. We will call him again and have already recommended him to our new neighbors. A true gentleman.

Description of Work: He has been to my home several times. Amount varies depending on what he does. He has taken apart the filter, vac the pool, added chemicals etc. CLeaned the green!Our pool was so difficult to keep up with this year. He has performed what others could not as far as determining the cause of the poor filtration and getting the pool to clear. My only regret is that I didn't know about him sooner. He was referred to me by my local pool store and boy was he a find! His work is great and he follows up. He may cost a little more... but the way I see it, I was paying way more over the long run, being frustrated and beginning to hate the pool. This man is a pool wizard as far as I'm concerned and he is professional and courteous all the way to the end. His name is JR Dickerson. He says he is very busy and has to turn some people away. I, personally, think he should expand. Call him, if he has availablity in his schedule and can care for your pool, you won't regret it. He knows his pools.
