DUN-RITE Appliance Repair

JImainee the owner of Dun-Rite was at my house within 4 hours of my contacting him via HomeAdvisor. He explained why my dishwasher was not functioning correctly and also how to keep the filter clean. Jimainee was very knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend DUN-RITE Appliance Repair.

Came to my house on a Sunday morning, friendly, reasonable, honest, got the job done. Did only what was needed, saved me money. I will definitely hire again

I hired Germaine/DUN WRONG!!! to go to my elderly mother's home, he said he would be out between 10-12 pm and he arrived @ 4 PM. I hired him to look at the stove and dishwasher and call my warranty company to validate repairs. He called me and said home warranty company wont cover it but he can fix the stove for $250 I said no, I will put $ towards a new stove and he said how about $200 I said NO!! I asked what about the dishwasher he said what dishwasher? I told him in the email through (homeadvisor) and on the phone about both appliances. I said please look at the dishwasher and call me back. He proceeded to talk to my elderly mother 83 and bullied her into fixing it for 200 and he DEMANDED TO BE PAID IN CASH and said because my mothers check may not be good. So in summary he lied about what the warranty company said and didn't try to fix the dishwasher because he got his CASH and ran and the worst part he took advantage of my elderly mother. I would not hire this guy to fix anything unless you want to be ripped off!! I hired him in good faith so do not trust everyone's rating!! I hope he gets his karma!! I will be contacting the BBB and the Secretary of State to report this guy. BTW it would not allow me to give 0 star!!!Continue looking!!!

Within an hour of my inquiry RUN-RITE was on their way to my house to assess the washing machine problem. Unfortunately for me, the repair and costs were greater than the cost to buy new. Fortunately for me DUN-Rite didn't try to sell me on repairs that would have been costly and ineffective. I greatly appreciated their timeliness and honesty! I would recommend them highly!

Cleared blockage in ice maker. Excellent work performed. Yes, would recommend.

Wasn't supposed to come until the next day but was in the area and stopped by and had my washer fixed in no time at a great price!

Called on a holiday and had service that day.

Called 20 minutes after the appointment time to tell me he was on his way. Turned out I need to replace the washer. He did not charge the full $80 Homeadvisor quoted for the service call.

Jimaine, the owner of Dun-Rite, took my call on January 2 at 9:00 AM, and even though all of his repairmen were on vacation, he took the call himself. He resolved my problem that day. I couldn't be more satisfied.

My refrigerator was making a noise, which he told me it was not going threw the defrost cycles. That much was true. told me to unplug it for 24 hours and it would be fine. Had to hire another company to fix the refrigerator, because the bimetal thermostat was bad in it. He could have burned up my refrigerator. My refrigerator would have continued to not go through a defrost cycle because this part was bad. If he would have just looked at the frost pattern he would have known that.

On time and very courtesy would use again

After contacting another local business who said the soonest they could get me an appointment was Friday (it's Monday) for my washer full of water and clothes, I turned to DUN-RITE. I couldn't be happier that I did. My appointment was for tomorrow but the dispatcher connected to his number and he was in my area and came over in an hour. Within 2 hours it was up and running! Great price as well. Thanks a bunch!

I used this appliance repair man before. Very quick, knowledgeable, and honest. Also reasonably priced.

$120 for an improper sized screw for a stove top knob. I have cancer and was hospitalized for a few weeks and when I discovered his error, repeatedly called his phone only to have a full voice mail. I called Home advisors customer service and they too found the voice box full and sent an e mail to no reply to me and now , eight weeks later , he finally replies to Home Advisor and states " the warranty was only for 30 days " he forgot that for thirty days , he didn't erase his voice mail and didn't respond to them for two weeks " Would NEVER hire again !
