Larry was an excellent contractor who arrived on time, and prepared to work everyday. He completed my ceiling ahead of schedule and under budget. I highly recommend Larry, as he is a true professional.

Larry Wallace has performed a very large variety of work for me at both my main residence and my beach home. He is a very skilled contractor, but perhaps just as important he is dependable and trustworthy. He also possesses an excellent imagination and can often suggest creative solutions to unusual situations. I highly recommend Wallace Painting and will continue to hire him myself.

They were punctual, and they cleaned up their mess. There were some things that I felt needed to be touched up and they came back and touched them up. They were just very willing to please.

It was not a good experience at all with Wallace Painting. I would never call them to paint anything that I own again. The owner sounded great but he didn't come through with any of it. He didn't do anything he said he would do. He threw some of the trim work away instead of painting it and putting it back. We asked him where the molding was and he stated it wasn't up there even after I showed him the proof. He had no respect for our property. It was just really bad. He started out giving us one price and every time we turned around he was needing more things which cost us more money. It took him a long time to even complete the job. He took our pickets and railings on the porch away and then expected us to pay for new ones. There was nothing wrong with the old ones other than he didn't want to scrape the old paint off and repaint them. At the end when we confronted him about some screens he put in backwards, he informed me he wasn't touching that house again. He called and fussed at me and called me names and it was just unreal. He never did one thing to rectify the situation at all. He treated us like we worked for him, telling us to go find what we wanted or needed to be done. He felt as if he was never wrong about anything. When he done the interior painting, he didn't put drop clothes down, didn't move or cover our furniture and scratched our furniture. I went into my bathroom and looked out the window and the workers showed up when we specifically told them we didn't want them to work that weekend. He denied that I told him that.

He quoted me for the interior of the house. Later, he told me that he couldn?t do the work for that amount. He told me that he would have to give another coat of paint inside. So, I paid more money. I was upset about that. I was further upset when he didn?t paint any of the closets. I thought they were part of the house; apparently it was my error in understanding. There is a built-in bookcase, which has enamel cabinets. He painted that. Apparently, he didn?t prep it right because the paint peeled off later. I was upset with that as well. When I told him about it, he didn?t apologize or accept responsibility. All this added to my unhappiness. I didn?t pursue the matter because he wasn?t receptive. If he was, my attitude towards would have been totally different. I had never met him. The interaction took place over the phone as I was away at Florida. He was okay except with what happened with the book case and his attitude. The quality was okay with the rest of the house. I think he should have known what he wanted to charge me, he should have known what paint to use, he should have painted the closets, and he shouldn?t have shown me the attitude. I will not use his services again in the future.

They did beautiful work at great prices. They had great clean up.
