Jobe's Landscape

The staff that work on my yard/project was on-time, helpful, did good work. Staff kept the work site clean each day and the best was they listened to me an. They took time to answer question. Note-I will planing to hire them next spring.

The crew arrived when scheduled and began work immediately. They consulted us when adjustments to the plan where needed. They were very well organized and completed the project in one day and cleaned the work area thoroughly.

The team was punctual & professional. The work was perfect-everything went according to plan from the planning meetings to completion, everything was perfect.

Jobe's did a beautiful job and we are thrilled with the results. I'm an experienced (30+ years) gardener but needed design help and recommendations for plantings for our new home after relocating from the Washington DC area to the Delaware shore. Jobe's came through on all counts. Their initial design, done with computerized imaging (pretty neat!), included more plants than we preferred but allowed us to pick only those that suited our taste. They excavated the new beds to 12 inches and replaced the poor sandy soil with good topsoil and amended it with compost and peat moss. All of this was done by hand to minimize damage to our newly sodded grass and fencing. When the plants came we were blown away - beautiful, large specimens that make the yard look established rather than the small random foundation plantings the builder gave us. They worked with us to place them where we wanted for the best appearance. They then installed drip lines and connected them to our existing irrigation system. The patio was constructed next and is beautiful. We had asked for a curved design with sitting walls at the rear, so there needed to be much stone cutting and careful placement. Freddie, Jobe's head mason, and his crew took their time and did a beautiful job. We suspect we'll enjoy many hours in our new outdoor living space. They cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the job repaired areas that needed reseeding or sodding from the construction. Lastly Joy and Jobe Tomer were great to work with and, importantly, treat their crew well, which in my book helps insure a well done job. Much of the work was done during the extreme summer heat wave - awful conditions at best. Their folks worked extremely hard but were allowed to stop when the heat was the worst in the afternoons. It meant the job took a bit longer to complete, but the results were more than worth the wait.

Went well - from initial appt. - discussion of our wants/needs. Jobe then followed up w/detailed pictures of his design - we signed contract & all work was completed as stated in timely manner.

Their plan was what we asked for-another company wanted to add too many other plants.

I had given Jobe's a poor rating I called the company and the owner made everything right. I would like to give them a A rating. They went above and beyond to make this right. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Joy?

Everything went well. Crew worked very hard.

Well. They came prepared, functioned well, prepared ground well and planted as well as installed drains.

Jobe was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Work was done on time and efficiently.

Because the yard was fenced and the gates were not wide enough for heavy excavation, all the work was done by hand. The crew was there by 8:00 every morning and left at 4:30. They even worked a Saturday to complete the job. Crew members were very polite and worked with very few breaks. Crew foreman has been with the company for 15 years was very meticulous with picking the stones to make a beautiful looking patio. Joy came out to the job site several times to check on the progress. Excellent company and excellent work!!!!!

We were very happy with the services that were provided. Jobe was very responsive, had good ideas, and provided an excellent overview and graphic as to what our landscaping would look like. We're very happy with the end result and highly recommend Jobe.

Joy arrived at the appointed time, brought samples and discussed options. Jobe's had very good pricing and was the only company we had bid on the project that was willing to handle Rehoboth's permitting process on our behalf. There was a slight delay in getting the project installed but all came out completely satisfactory. We would definitely use them again! They installed a paver walk at my neighbors many years ago and its held up well so I do not anticipate any problems. Joy had suggestions for landscaping which we may consider tackling at a future date.

I was very happy with them. They were very fantastic and very good. Actually they gave a little of a discount too. They are the clear company to choose in terms of plants for an estimate.

T hey worked for three days and only stopped for lunch. Everyone was a workaholic, all working together to make our yard very beautiful..They cleaned up at the end of the day and told us they were leaving and would see us in the morning. I would use them again and again. We have the most awesome yard in the neighborhood.

They arrived at the scheduled time. Completed the job in a neat, professional manner. The cost was half the amount of other companies we received quotes from. We cannot recommend them strongly enough.

Joy, Tammy and the rest of the team did a wonderful job. They were very responsive to my requests and phone calls. The yard came out looking perfect, just the way I had hoped. The quality of service was excellent and the price was very competitive. I would highly recommend this company!

All I can say is that Jobe exceeded our expectations in all areas. He was punctual meeting with us each time, and stayed in contact with us both before and during the actual work. Watching his team perform the work was a lesson in efficiency. As soon as an empty truck was needed to haul things away, it was there. When they were ready for topsoil, again a truck was there. His workers were diligent, and Jobe stopped by the job site frequently to keep tabs on progress. Also I'm glad I went with the irrigation system to keep the plants watered. It's an added insurance policy to keep the new plants in good shape. I can't tell you how many compliments we have received in the few days since the work was completed. I can't recommend them highly enough. Note that while the price may seem high, it was because ALL the work had to be done by hand due to the location. If they had been able to use backhoes or other mechanical means to do the work, the price almost certainly would have been less.

I negotiated a reasonable price for services provided. The "crew" arrived on time and completed the work in a very professional manner. They never interrupted me as I went about my daily chores! I plan on using them again. The only word of caution I would make is that with so many different varities of trees, bushes, grasses, I would specify the exact genus and species you want to avoid confusion!

Joy or Jake come with thier employees (4-5 men) and assess the needs or concerns you have about your landscape. They then instruct the employees as to the work to be done. All are polite, quiet and efficient. They leave the beds and yard in excellent condition and everything is clean.

I was notified promptly of delays due to weather and even though there were delays it was only one day since they worked through the weekend to catch up. They showed up on time and reviewed the work to be completed before they started. At the end of every day they cleaned up the worksite even though they was still more work to be done. Upon completion they reviewed all aspects of the installation and work performed. Demonstrated how sprinkler zones were installed. Finally, they reviewed credits and adjustments for last minute changes that were made based upon my own request. The work was done very well and they left a very clean worksite before, during and after.
