FEHRENBACH'S FLOORING PLUS

Placed a flooring order May 9. Finally heard from them end of July to schedule the install. Called the day of install saying they did not have the floors. Scheduled for this Friday. No one showed. No one has still called. Now we are trying to get our large deposit back and no one of replying to our calls, emails, texts.

We needed a repair of floor because initial contractor installed planks that had defective tongue and groove components. Fehrenbach reps were punctual and professional. No drama.

Installation was as scheduled. There were no issues. Looks great!

Upon visiting the showroom Melissa, the store manager, guided us through the decision process. She listened to our the parameters of our lifestyle and steered us toward a flooring material which would stand up to the daily rigors of two young children and a large dog. She let us borrow samples of the different flooring choices to take home and see how they looked in our environment. Bill, the owner, came out a week later to provide the estimate. Two days later Melissa emailed the estimate and provided details about the work to be performed and the cost breakdown. After we payed 1/2 of the deposit the installation was scheduled. The install itself took about 1.5 days. The two guys who did the installation were very courteous and created NO messy dirt to clean up. The balance of the payment was due after the work was complete. I was only slightly disappointed by the trim work done around the border of the flooring. The 1/4 round requires some painting where the mitre cuts were made. There are also small gaps around the back door where the trim just doesn't fit right. These are just minor nits as I am super critical of any work done on my house. Overall, the project turned out beautifully!
