Barry was GREAT! His estimate was spot on and there were no extra charges.  He finished the work in a timely manner and was as nice of a person as you would want to meet. When he was finished the area he was working on was clean and you would never have known someone had be doing drywall work in that area. I would not hesitate to have him do work for me again any time! A definite Angie's list gem! Thanks Barry!

 I had had water damage to my kitchen ceiling from a plumbing problem, and an area of approx. 6 ft by 10 ft. needed to be removed and replaced.  I called a drywall specialist that was advertised in my local newspaper. The first meeting for an estimate took place within three days.  Mr. Wilkins explained that the extent of the project would have to be determined after the drywall was removed and the ceiling could be inspected.  It turned out that the repair would not be as extreme as it might have been.
The project took five or six days, with the longest day being perhaps 5 1/2 hours, and the shortest day a little over an hour.  Every appointment was kept, and Mr. WIlkins was extremely punctual.  The job was messy (ceiling drywall repairs, spackling) but before Mr. WIlkins left each day, the kitchen was made as neat and clean as could possibly be expected.  The job also required the removal and replacement of a celing fan fixture.  All in all, the experience was great and the ceiling looks great.  Our home is approx. 125 years old, and the uneven support beams in the ceiling made the job more challenging.  Mr. Wilkins seemed very competent with this challenge and took it in stride.  The bill was very reasonable.  There is nothing negative that I could say and I would highly recommend Barry Wilkins for any drywall project.
