Couldn't have been better

They are our regular. They replaced everything about 2 years ago. We actually did a complete renovation of our house, so they put in 2 new units and now they are providing maintenance for said units. We have been using them for decades and they are huge. Twice we have had problems with the old HVAC for electrical. We go down there for Thanksgiving and we get there Wednesday night, the day before Thanksgiving and they will still send somebody out there. They always have somebody on call. We have had somebody come out on Christmas day. They are a truly responsive company. You always want a maintenance contract with them and that puts you in the front of the line. That's the purpose of having a maintenance contract. I am not sure if somebody cold called them and they didn't get right out and they say " That's 24 hour emergency service." We know that when we call we are going to get somebody. Pricing is reasonable, I mean it's not cheap, but we had a couple of quotes when we had the HVAC replaced and it was comparable.

I would tell a friend to use them.

When the original technician came, it was fine. He was prompt, took down specifications for new system, told me an approximate cost, but said the office would have to call me the next day with the exact quote. After they did not call, I called and left a message the next day. The person in the office called me back and quoted me 12,500 for a new furnace and AC unit. My home is a one level, 2000 square foot home. I knew this was ridiculously high, as this is not the first HVAC that I have had to replace in a home. When I questioned the girl and told her the technician said it would be between 5000 and 7500, she told me I had obviously misunderstood him. I told her my neighbors used their services recently for a whole new system and only paid 8k (noting that their home is two levels and larger than mine). She then tried to ask me their names, as if she would have given me a better price at that point. I thanked her for her time, but stated I would find someone else. I moved on quickly and got three additional quotes--all between 6000 and 6500. Found someone great that did the work to my satisfication, was honest, and just nice. Lesson learned to always get three estimates. I am posting this review just to make others aware of the potential price gouging. Fast forward to 3 weeks later, I get a bill from this company for coming out to provide this estimate for 99.00. I called to try to get it cleared up only to encounter an extremely rude employee, named Jennifer. They are wrongly saying they provided diagnostics. They only gave me an estimate for a new system and the technician never asked me to pay him the day he showed up. Nor did I sign anything acknowledging the service they are trying to say that they provided to me. After saying that I wanted to talked to the owner (who wasn't available), I finally got to speak to the head service technician, Travis. He was much more polite than Jennifer and I thought he was trying to help me. He had told me the bill would be cancelled and that he would email me confirmation. I am still waiting for this confirmation. I would not put it past a dishonest company like this to try to send me to collections for a service that they never provided or asked for payment for when the technician came out. I cannot understand the mentality behind trying to get any money out of someone you tried to rip off so badly. Of course, I have told all of my neighbors about my experience with this company.

The heater was frozen and they replaced the fans three time. They have nice people who would take the call and come out and fix the problem.

They delevered exactly what was agreed upon. I found the office and road staff polite profesional and trustworthy.

My a/c at the beach condo stopped cooling. I am the second owner and the unit is 13 years old, so I was worried. I had another company come and tell me that the whole thing needed to be replaced. They didn't seem reliable, and so, on the recommendation of a friend, I called Atlantic. In the end, they made a relatively quick service visit, figured out the breaker had flipped, and that was it. I add all the superlative ratings because they: (a) were quick and professional making the appointment; (b) went to the property manager to pick up the key, so I didn't need to travel to the beach; (c) identified the problem quickly; and (d) did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. I'll be using them again, up to when (hopefully not soon!) I actually do have to replace the unit!

wow, for once I am happy with a service! My central air "froze up" due to a loss of refrigerant requiring addition of refrigerant. These guys gave me straight talk about the condition of my central air system and explained that eventually my 13 yr old air conditioning unit will need replacing-but not right now. They added refrigerant (1lb) R-22 and explained that I can do this each season until the unit completely dies. They charged me $173.00 for the service which included 2 trips out to the house, since my system was frozen rock solid when they initially came out and it had to thaw overnight. They DID NOT charge me a service fee for driving out twice! Just once. These guys were great. Punctual, fair, dependable. Very happy!

They inspected the inside and outside units and determined that the outside unit had leaks in Freon pipes. The units were 16 years old so we replaced them.

The pace moves a bit slower out there. They don't give it away for free and the price was a little high, but fair in my opinion. They showed up right on time and they did the work precisely and professionally. I would highly recommend them to others.
